Small but mighty big life saver!
Firstly, my only "con" is that you don't get a lot for the price, I may get back to this to update but I estimate this 4x 10g is going to last me approx 4-6 weeks to give my cat her meds twice a day which is going to add up over time.Having that said...I am more than happy to pay the price for the ease with which she's now taking her tablets! It was stressful and time consuming, I tried to hide within food but she got wise to that very fast, leading to me having about 3 or 4 different flavours of cat food/treats open at any given time in the hopes to distract using flavours.Always having to sit and watch her eat to make sure it had been taken or not (time consuming especially on busy mornings).Resorted to using a pill popper on occasion which was stressful and unenjoyable for her and me.She is now happy to take her meds just wrapped in this like they're a treat. It's a small bit of extra faff to wrap each tablet but still far quicker than having to supervise her meals and then manually give it to her if she'd "eaten around" it.It's easy to use, just tear off then mush a pea-ish size portion to soften it and then wrap around tablet.I have bought the single packet (1x 10g) in the past for my other cat for a short term need and from that experience I am glad it is in small packets, any larger than 10g and I think it would likely lose its texture before you've finished it (it goes oily and overly soft although still usable but I'm not sure of shelf life once open?).My little lady cat is now on long term medication however so I don't forsee it not getting used up in time. I use a peg to fold it closed.I'm very very glad this product exists, and I pray my cat continues to like the flavour, I do wish that you got another packet or two more for the price though as its not cheap considering what it is.Definitely worth a go if you're struggling with giving cat meds. I have not had a cat refuse it yet, admittedly I have only had to give 3 cats medication, and only one of those on a multiple times a day schedule. I think that's still a decent acceptance rate though!

It actually works!
Really pleased with this product, my cat isn't the most willing when it comes to medication. I've tried hiding it in all sorts of treats, food etc but she's a clever girl and always eats around it.However, this putty has changed the game! We're only three days in, but there's been no hesitation with taking this 'special treat'. The product has a strong smell which definitely does the trick of disguising the bitter smell and taste of the pills!Extremely happy, I want my girl to have her daily meds in the least distressing manner possible. This is absolutely perfect, she enjoys having it. They are relatively small however, but a price I'm happy to pay for how effective it is! I reckon with this pack of 4 I can probably get a month (minimum) to 6 weeks of meds in her.I don't usually leave reviews, but I was so pleased when she took it first time with no issue! Could have cried with relief.Tip: Avoid touching the putty with the hand you touched the pill with! Even better, use tweezers to place the pill onto the putty and use clean fingers to mold around it. (This avoids leaving any traces of the pills scent and taste on the outside of the putty!)

Recommend! My cat loves this stuff and is unaware that he is getting a pill every day.
My cat is on daily medication now. I'm an experienced piller, and he initially accepted being pilled by hand. Not having had pills before I think he was more surprised by the daily assault than anything. However, he became increasingly difficult about it and having drawn blood on 2 occasions with a savage bite, the second of which required antibiotics for a hugely swollen and painful finger (despite what I thought was a thorough flush of the wound!), I started researching those injector things. This putty came up in the results, so I thought if it works it would be less stressful for both of us. And so it proved.I can wrap his little pill up and bowl it across the tiled floor, and he chases it and tucks into it pill and all. Then licks the tiles. It smells very strong, like freshly opened dried food, which must be attractive to him.Reading reports that it dries out too fast, I keep it in its foil packet, I expel air then fold over a couple of times and secure with a small bull dog clip which reaches from side to side, thereby making as good as airtight seal as I can muster. I keep that in an small airtight box on the work top, and it's opened only once a day to wrap the pill. By the time I reach the end, I would say there is no noticeable difference in the texture nor the smell, and it works as effectively as when first opened. As my pills are small, I pull off only as much as I need to hide it, and by preserving it so it doesn't dry out, it's not that expensive. A foil packet lasts me 8 days so the cost is under £12 per month. No stress for him and my fingers remain in tact. Plus the difficulty nowadays of getting an appt to see a medical professional to get antibiotics for an infection makes it worth it! Win-win.UPDATE: The cat is now on 2 tabs/day and we are still doing with this product. As the meds are for life, I would suggest investing in the pot that contains 30, which works out cheaper. As my cat is now on a special diet, I get that and the putty on sub from Animed, which is the cheapest option.

Expensive but easy to use with some success
Like many cat owners, I find getting them to take a pill can be stressful for both of us! This works by being soft and malleable so you can squish a tablet into the treat. My little cherubs happily ate the treat with tablet the first time round, but refused on subsequent occasions, leaving me with just very expensive cat treats. It's worth a try if you're struggling, but I'll be going back to the old fashioned way of doing things.

Impressed
Really works. Use just enough to hide the pill and I put it down with some Dreamies or just into the food bowl. Eaten up very quickly so I am delighted. So difficult to get meds into a cat so this is your friend - worked for us
