Travel Makeup Mirror with Led Lights

I was looking for a small, lighted makeup mirror I could use for travel rather than lugging my 10" square electric one. Most lighted mirrors have VERY feeble light with magnification between 5X to 10X that is simply too much. How could you possibly get the perspective needed to apply eye makeup tastefully?You would end up looking like a clown with 10X magnification! The lighted makeup mirror I use every day is nearly 20 years old and I don't know what I will do if it quits working. It has replaceable bulbs (which are also very hard to find), and the magnification is 2X on one side and flips over to no magnification. I would almost KILL to find another (just kidding), but I've looked for years and I'm convinced one just does not exist. This little mirror isn't perfect, but very close to it. I'm delighted and am anxious to use it for international travel!

Wish it had been bigger. I was very disappointed when I opened the package to discover this mirror is about the size of a woman's open palm. Honestly I think its way too small to use as a makeup mirror but may be good as a tweezer mirror though. Mirror stand on the back is a joke. It will barely stay open when I try to stand mirror up. I havent had a chance to put batteries in this yet to use the lights but will do so soon and edit my review.

This is a gift. It does not come with the 3 AAA batteries needed to operate. Not exactly purse friendly and nothing to protect the mirror or buttons. I do like the different lighting simulations. Holding it too close to the face produces the different color lighting on the face and whatever object is in the center of the mirror will be dark. Comes with a small pop-out stand and suction cup.

I bought this for my wife to use on the bus on her way to work in the morning. She's often on the bus before sunrise and says this mirror puts out plenty of light to apply makeup. Her only complaint is she'd like it to be more compact. She's only been using it for one week, so can't comment on battery life.

Nice size for traveling and price is right. The main light option is not as bright as I had expected; the other lighting options are useless to me. The magnification is acceptable.

I know it's a travel mirror but it's really too small and the lights aren't bright enough to do your makeup.

Kind of a joke with all the different colors but it's better than nothing when you need it!

I should have realized that four sets of tiny LEDs would not provide enough illumination. The mirror works, but the lighting is lame. Not recommended.
