Very helpful in clean up but a bit flimsy.

I actually love this product
I love this product. . I have about 8 of the red and three of the older grey versions and I use them every single day in my painting business. If they ever stopped making them I'm afraid I'd have to rig up this guy's prototype of a coffee can with a duct tape handle! They are wonderful. This product has made my work that much easier. I don't use the liners simply because I have so many pails going at once it really isn't cost effective for me. I let the paint dry and then peel it out. When the magnets get all gunked up and start dropping your brush.. you can knock them off and soak them over night in alcohol and scrub with a toothbrush and they are good as new. My only gripe... I miss the strap on the grey ones. I like that the red ones are more lightweight but I really miss the strap. Wish you atleast had the option to buy one or the other.

Not as handy as it looks
I purchased this item to use with a 6 in roller. I wanted something I could throw away and not wash. I wanted to use it for oil based primer to paint over wall paper. The idea is great. I could take it up the ladder with me for rolling right below my cut in area. However the bucket is too narrow to submerge a 6 inch roller in unless you fill more than half way full. Also the front of the bucket has a dip on the inside which also prevents loading of the middle of the roller. I was using my best bad words within minutes of trying to paint with this paint pail. I'm on my way back to the store to buy a roller pan with disposable liners. One other thing, I used the foam 6 inch disposable roller that is good for latex and oil based paints. It began making a black line on the wall where the foam totally covers the handle holder. What's up with that?

The worst thing to happen to this product was when they ...
The pail pictured DOES NOT have a strap! The pail is the same thing found in the box stores. The worst thing to happen to this product was when they removed the strap. I've painted for many years, this is the third pail like this I have owned. I wouldn't have bought it if I knew it didn't have the strap. I should have bought the Wooster pail with the strap.

It really is Handy
This roller pail is really handy. My 4 inch roller barely fits down to the bottom though so if you are using it with a 4 inch roller then this might not be the best option for you. The magnet on the side is great for holding a brush and I find this great for cutting while standing on a ladder. The smaller cup one also works equally well so if you don't need a large amount of paint then you will probably be fine with the smaller one and it is more secure when holding.

Works great with mini-rollers
New to using mini-rollers on house siding. I would estimate that it is 3 times faster then a brush (12 lap siding). This pail works great. I have found that the pail lines are not necessary. The pail washes up fine with a brush and the liner makes it harder to use the paint brush holder.

Best Painting Tool Ever!
This is, by far, the best painting tool I have ever used. Use a liner with it, and it's very easy to clean up also!

Wrong shape
The pail is rounded so when you roll it the middle of the roller is in the air and only the ends are in contact with the pail.It overloads the paint in the middle of the roller. It's slightly to narrow to use a 6.5" roller. It would have been great if it was slightly wider and flat in the front.
