My husband is a pilot who would get flu/cold on and off. I heard about this product from a nurse on Youtube who did not take flu shots but took elderberry and vitamin C and never got sick. I told my husband about this and we ordered Nature's Sunshine Elderberry. We have been taking this for months. My husband takes it alternate days whilst I will only take it if I am travelling, or feel something coming on. All the times when we thought we had a cold or flu coming on, somehow when you pump your system with these pills, both of us NEVER got full blown cold/flu! Did not end up with fever, sneezing, running nose, coughing, wheezing, aches and pains etc. Our immunity just snuffs off the minor unwell feeling by day two you are good to go! We have never wasted our money on flu shots! As a Christian I am telling the truth! I wonder why isn't elderberry promoted instead of the flu shots! This is an important part of your winter medicine cabinet. I stock up on this and NS Echinacea Golden Seal every winter. Soon as I get a sniffle I start taking them. The Elderberry in the Elderberry D3fense supports my immune system and helps me fight off colds and flu. Am I saying you definitely won't get a cold or flu? No, but it will shorten the misery if you do take it. Elderberry D3fense also contains willow bark extract, which acts a lot like aspirin, so it can be helpful for the headaches and body aches I get that accompany colds and flu. As a bonus the Elderberry D3fense contains vitamin D3 which our bodies need and get less of in the winter because the days are shorter = less sunshine. I take the Echinacea Golden Seal with it to help rid my body of any of the "bugs" the ED3 is protecting me from. If you are wanting something that is going to wipe out you cold or flu with one pill this is not it. This stuff is amazing. Has kept me from getting sick for years. Take one a day in the cold/flu season in the fall/winter and then take a couple a day whenever you are exposed to someone who is sick or feel like you are coming down with something. They have been a lifesaver!

I started taking this November 2016. My daughter is a nurse in Emergency Department. She & my husband have had colds over the winter months at least 2 times each or more. I have not been sick once. I have terrible allergies year round. I ran out of this 2 weeks ago & my allergies have increased.Honestly I don't know if I will order this again. Nothing wrong with this product. I take so many pills. Supplements and medicine. I'm considering making Elderberry syrup. I may keep this around in case I get sick or travel for convenience. It's a great product.

Excellent to take to prevent illness. Look at what it contains. This can be hard to get for a reason.
