NOT ALEXA COMPATIBLE - Switch is not REC APP compatible as box claims.
Received switch and tried to hook it up. Despite box claiming it was REC appcompatible (and therefore ALEXA compatible) it would not configure. I already have a NEO switch that uses the old NEO software. I tried to hook it up with that software and it worked. As I'm using this on a display cabinet, I can make it work but I'm obviously disappointed that I can't integrate it into my home's Alexa schedules.

Missing claimed functions and creepy permissions.
The historic power monitoring does not show anything. There are no push notifications. The app requires strange permissions to pictures and media on your phone.

A bit bulky
I purchased this smart plug during a lightning deal for a good price. The plug works well with Alexa. One needs to install the Ankuoo app, setup the plug then add to the Alexa app. That sounds a bit complicated, but was easy enough to install. I use the plug with Alexa to control the lights above the workbench in the garage. The plug can be controlled with its own app. The plug is bulkier than the others in my house. My photos show the Ankuoo plug and the 4th generation Echo adapter in the electric outlet.

Fraudulent Product
This product does not work at all anymore. I bought a bunch of these at one time and they did work but they all stopped working. The inability to put them on the network is the key issue. I just tried to go to the company website and was told the site is no longer registered. Beware, ANKUOO appears to be out of business.
