So many typos!
It's sometimes difficult to keep track of the underlying message when the text is riddled with typos. I believe this issue is limited to the eBook version that's just done poorly.

a comprehensive and interesting biography of the prophet
I was given this book by a Muslim friend. It's a fascinating read and it was assuring to know that it is so well regarded by Muslims. It details the struggles and final victory of Islamic monotheism, not only through the life, teaching, and example of Muhammad himself but with biographical sketches of the Companions with their strengths, failings and weaknesses. It also describes the battles that rising Islam fought and won and the beginnings of Arabic Islamic expansion and the powerful influence they had in the Middle East. But it is more than just a history of a rising power; it gives much detail about Muhammad himself and what kind of man he was and how and why his followers stuck with him through so much struggle. It shows his greatness and his humanity, his strength and his meekness, his justice and his mercy. This is a great book about a great man, the founding of a great religion, and a fascinating history. And it gives background to some of what the Qur'an refers to. Well worth reading.

Excellent
Such a wonderful book that details the significant events in the life of the last messenger of God! The narrative was quite interesting. However there are quite a few glaring grammatical errors and spelling mistakes which disturb the otherwise superb flow!
