Fairy Jar Lantern Nightlight Arts and Craft Kit - Craft Project for Kids - Gift for Girls Ages 6 7 8 9 10 Years and Up (Fairy Lantern)

Cute concept and 8 year olds were excited to start the craft. Seriously lacking were instructions and materials needed to construct. Fairies are put in place by "glue dots; "these were extremely difficult to remove from the sheet (the children couldn't do this and it was hard for me to remove the dots), there are not enough dots to properly secure fairy to the glass. No instructions on how to assemble the wire hanger on these; I had to figure this out and put hangers on. Fairy lights were tangled so I had to de-tangle them. This is supposed to be a children's craft yet I ended up doing about 75% of the work. This craft had the children SO frustrated because of course they want to do it all on their own and that's the point of children's craft projects. Would NEVER EVER purchase this again nor would I EVER recommend it. Not worth the hassle and tears.

This kit is so cute! Easy to put together and my girls are totally in love with them!!! I will defiantly be purchasing more as gifts!!!

I didn't even get passed Step 1, of putting the unicorn vinyl sticker on the jar. Change the picture of the product, to accurately show that the unicorn sticker has to be weeded AND stuck to the transfer paper. I don't understand why the seller couldn't do that step themselves. Not everyone has Cricut experience, or the tools to weed. Even tho I do, it didn't help with this terrible vinyl. Even with the proper tools, mat, and technique, I couldn't even get 3 pieces of the horn weeded, before the vinyl ripped. I have made intricate Cricut designs, in both stickers and iron-on. This size of detail, is not new to me. Might need to change the blade on your cutting machine. Further investigation of the vinyl, the lines do not separate easily at all. Between the cheap vinyl, dull blade, and possibly this is just an old kit, the sticker is trash. Now I have to break out my own Cricut and vinyl, to make a replacement unicorn for this lantern. Very disappointed. I'm glad I bought this for no other reason than I wanted same-day shipping on something else, and needed to spend more money. This would've made a terrible gift, just because of the vinyl. I did put batteries in the make sure the lights work, and they do. So yay for that. I'm sure the glue and glitter won't be too difficult, just messy.

So the first package that arrived came with a broken jar, however I reached out the company directly and they responded promptly and politely. My issue was fixed and now my kids are thoroughly enjoying their adorable lanterns!!!! Super cute and easy to assemble! Very happy with this purchase.

Bought 2 Fairy Lanterns for my two granddaughters. Although pleasantly packaged with directions, the products just did not work.....the sticky dots did adhere fairies to the lantern interiors....but most importantly, the battery operated lids did not work.....neither lid worked using 2 brand new AAA batteries.....I immediately emailed the company ....and received no reply. My granddaughters were disappointed as we wanted to use the Fairy lanterns this evening to signal the tooth fairy..... hey! 2 disappointed little girls!

I bought this unicorn lantern so that I could make it as present for my grandmother. It is was easy to assemble, but we did have to let it dry for about 48 hours. It took a long time to dry because the glue was thick in some places inside of the glass jar. When I assembled the finished product and turned on the light, it was even prettier than I expected.

First. the glue that was included was nothing but a hard glob, totally non functional. Resorted to Elmers clear glue and followed directions. placed the sugary fine glitter in the jar and let dry overnight. The included glue dots only held the black paper cutouts on the glitter for an hour or so and everything fell to the bottom of the jar. Tried using Elmers again, did not hold. Resorted to tape, didn't work. Bottom line, nothing sticks to the glitter. THEN when gluing the trim to the top of , that didn't hold either. HUGE RIP OFF! 4 disappointed little granddaughters and one ticked off Grandmother! Go to the dollar store and use your imagination. THIS is a piece of junk and expensive at that! Jars are thin plastic. Don't waste your time, money and the disappointment it caused the kids.After the company reached out to me they were super about fixing the problem and showed genuine concern, They refunded my money and sent out different kits for free to appease my granddaughters. Whereas this kit was not what we expected and we were terribly disappointed in the outcome, the customer service was great and the problems have been resolved . There is something to be said for great customer service these days and it is appreciated here and anywhere! It doesn't happen very often!

My granddaughter was so excited on Christmas day she couldn't wait to get started putting it together , I should have bought a few it was a great hit , I will post pictures when I reorder !! Home run
