Field TuffFTF-2200UW Utility Trailer, 2200 lb

My husband bought this to build a movable chicken coop on. Once it’s done, I’ll try to come back and post pictures.

We were looking for a running gear to make a "scale" wagon. This worked awesome. We did cut about 2 inches off the connecting tube to allow us to stay under a certain length. Very easy to put together.

This is a solid product minus a few upgrades required. The bearings are as cheap as they come and have to be greased. Two weeks after buying this, the bearings in one wheel blew apart while hauling about 500 pounds of dirt (WAY under the advertised rating). I ordered a set of 10 sealed bearings that don't have to be greased on Amazon for $27 (Look for 204S wheel bearings). The cotter pins are too soft and folded in on themselves, too. I had to make the pin holes slightly bigger and use larger pins to hold the retaining washer in place for the wheels.This shipped in two batches. The tires/wheels shipped pre-mounted in a box the day before the trailer body. The trailer body showed up taped and zip-tied together. The mounting brackets you connect the trailer to a body were missing and I fabricated my own from angle steel. I was short a few nuts that I had to buy at the hardware store. I also had to drill out the tow bar socket so that the bolt that it comes with would fit.One of the corners that the front wheel mount connects to had been crushed in. I had to hammer it out and shape it so that it was round again to get it together. I also had to drill out the end of the tow bar that connects to my lawn tractor to use a standard sized tow pin rather than the smaller one it came with.Now that I've done my upgrades, it is working fine. I would have paid $50 more for it to be packed in a box with better quality bearings and cotter pins. I needed to get it up and going for a project or I would have just returned it for another. Worst packaging I've ever seen for a retail product.

The media could not be loaded.  A solid product. Needs better hardware. you will replace all cotter pins and washers.

I used the Field Tuff Trailer to move my Lance camper into my garage for winter storage. The camper weighs 1790 lbs dry and the Field Tuff took the weight like a champ.

This trailer has worked out great. Easy to build and has many uses.

This wagon rolling chassis is not nearly capable of hauling 2200 lbs. First time using it with about 1,000 lbs of wood loaded in it the spindle bent leaving the wheel locked up against the frame I built. This left the wagon stranded not being able to move it with a full load of wood that I had to off load. See my attached pictures. NOT AS HEAVY DUTY AS THEY MAKE IT OUT TO BE.

Just what I needed for my project.....the only problem was getting one of the front wheels aligned....maybe add a few more pre-drilled holes for more choices for length.
