Sega Dreamcast Console (Renewed)

Works brand spanking new!

Turned it on put in nfl 2k. Played for 5 minutes and the game froze. Tried 6 other games machine won't read any of them.

I bought this because my old Dreamcast had some trouble playing certain titles. Some games always ran (Spawn, Marvel Versus Capcom 2), but others (Shenmue, Jet Grind Radio, D-2, even good ol’ Crazy Taxi in latter days) displayed issues. Because my old Dreamcast and games were used in the first place, I wasn’t really sure if it was a problem with the game(s) or the system itself, but after considering that the (old) system came from a non-Amazon store that has since proven to be somewhat unreliable, I decided to order this Amazon Renewed product. My renewed Dreamcast arrived promptly, and in great working condition. After hooking it up and testing out some of my favorite games, I can safely say that the problem I had was in my old system. I no longer get a black screen or instantly brought back to the home screen after starting a disc, and I no longer play in fear of the game crashing unexpectedly or have to insert a good disc 20 < times before it plays. With my Model 1 Genesis, this is my second successful purchase of vintage Sega hardware from this seller.

Most definitely one of the best game consoles ever made !!! Are the crime of its release , was more advanced than some others . A large library of great games . Sega is one of the best game developers in the gaming world. Dreamcast was their last console. It is well-made. The controllers are of excellent quality. If you are a Sega fan and you crave great games with arcade quality graphics and sounds, then this is the console to buy.

I think a battery in charge of memory storage may be dead inside the unit since it can't remember the date, but she'll run 30 hours before quitting.

The media could not be loaded. DC turns on but won’t read any games.I’ve tried 3 games, and different cords, black screen after Sega screen everytime

I wanted a Dreamcast for YEARS! I finally got dumb enough to buy one when I don't really got the money. BUT I'm super happy. The console itself came in perfect condition (beware though the disc reader is noisy, mine sounds like a high-tech computer or something. But all dreamcast readers are noisy) the controller though, it's right trigger was squeeky but with a little wd40 it went away. The analog stick twists, it's kinda hard to make Sonic run straight in the game but not too hard it's very playable but I'm thinking bout getting a new one. I had to buy a vmu separate to it. It's my fave game system!
