One Touch Windshield Dashboard Smartphone Car Mount

I wanted to like this, but it is a cheapo design executed in a cheapo way.1. The suction cup is OK, but the way the base is mounted allows a lot of "slop."2. The plastic is thin and cheap-feeling.3. The ball/socket mechanism cannot be tightened enough to keep the cradle from drifting out of position while driving--at least not with my Droid Maxx in it.4. The phone cradle mechanism holds the phone pretty tightly, but is NOT a one-handed affair. The release buttons are obscured behind the phone, and are not directly opposed, so finding and squeezing them without dropping the phone is definitely a clumsy 2-handed operation.All in all, I was displeased and returned it for a refund. (Save that box, folks!) FYI, I ended up buying (and really liking) an iOttie one-touch mount...it is nicely designed, stoutly made and a breeze to use.

At first, I wasn't happy with this purchase because it kept falling off the dash. I had cleaned the dash but not the suction cup of the mount because it was covered with a plastic sticker and I thought it didn't need it. However, after I cleaned the dash again and also cleaned the suction cup - it worked as advertised. I have a Moto X - 2nd generation phone which measures 5 1/2" x 3". The car mount has been attached to my dash for 1 to 2 weeks and I travel on a lot of rough roads (gravel, potholes, curvy). It has not fallen off yet. I expect to have to re-attach it at some point which happens with any item attached by a suction cup especially when it is subjected to various changes in temperatures. I definitely recommend this product!

Easy to install , easy to put my phone in it but unless I am doing something wrong, it is not easy/one handed to get my phone out of it.

Worked fine for about one month and then started to wiggle around a bit. Reseated the phone holder to the mount and that seemed to help for a while but after three months and the brutal Mid-Atlantic summer, it just couldn't keep up with my phone. I was trying to experiment with easy-to-use and reliable mounts for my phone but this isn't it.

I bought this because I read the reviews and everyone said it was awesome. I purchased 2 and 1 of them does not stick very well to my dash board and continuously falls off. The other one stays solid and has never fallen off.

It has great suction but it broke after a month. It's not easy to get the phone out of it either. The release buttons are in an awkward place and you have to use both hands to squeeze it to get the phone out. The red grips are strong and holds the phone well, but I hated having to wiggle it around to maneuver my phone out of it. The one I had previously was one handed in and out..awesome..but this was cheaper and I got what I paid for, sadly. Not worth my time or money.

I've used this mount before. In all honesty I have not put this one up yet as the one I have has held through summer and winter. But this one will fit my iPhone 6. These mounts hold really well through all kinds of weather and vibration. The sides adjust to fit vertical or horizontal.

I think the release button are almost unusable and not convenient to get to.
