You get what you pay for. I bought them because of the low price. They are not nylon. They are made from a brittle plastic and 3 out of ten brake when tightened with a standard Tie- gun. It helps when you set the Tie-gun to < intermediate > rather than < standard >, but that makes for a loose wrap.

Use these for everything
Standard zip ties. Not thin and cheap like some others. I trust anything I use these on is going to stay together. With these & duct tape, there's nothing that can't be fixed!

I hate when people post over the top negative reviews about products...I always think something must have been wrong with the customer for a product to be so bad... but in this case, it IS THE PRODUCT. This product is HORRIBLE.... Either the locking mechanism broke off when tightening... or the entire tie snapped well under the "90lb" strength the company claims. It happened 100% of the time on a project we were working on. I have used many different ties from various companies and NEVER has this happened. Please trust this review and save yourself time and aggravation and buy another company's product! This is the worst product EVER made in this market of cable ties... no wonder the company's name is ehotcafe... maybe they should just sell coffee.

Defective
I bought these cable ties as I use ties often and it was a good price. Unfortunately, they are so cheaply made, that the locking "pin" if you will broke off on EVERY tie I used when I was pulling them tight. All of them broke...very disappointed and a waste of money. My advice is to spend the extra $2 and get quality ties that you can rely on.
