Product is great and he/we couldn't be more pleased
Bought this for my 2yo son. I know that's a little on the young side, but he's a very technical "player" and is very gentle on his toys as we've taught him to be. Product is great and he/we couldn't be more pleased, he will play with these Bruder toys for hours on end and also loves his little Bruder men that can drive the trucks. I read many reviews before purchasing and yes, they are made of plastic, and yes, some parts are more rubbery to allow give when dropped (better to give a little than break) etc, but this is a very high quality toy and is a better choice for my young guy that heavy di-cast products. Nothing broken thus far, but it's great if something does pop off it can easily be popped back on or you can buy spare parts from the factory at very reasonable prices.

Perfect!
Not sure how long it will last mostly plastic, but so far it's been well used and all intact. My 5 year was ecstatic when he received it, very cool lots of detail.

The grand boys 2,5,8 haven’t played with much, too spoiled I guess, I would have loved it as a child

Half an hour play, plastic broke, heart broken kid !
I bought the Bruder Mack Granite Halfpipe truck for my son for his birthday. He loves it and was so excited when we gave it to him. He played on the carpet with it for about a half an hour and walked across the wood floor and accidently dropped it on it's side. The plastic hinge on the right side of the bed of the truck came loose from the bed and now the tailgate will no longer close.He is devistated and their is no way to keep the back tailgate closed. Like I said, this is brand new and now it's ruined !! This was an expensive truck and I went back and forth about spending the money, I am so dissapointed.UPDATE--I contacted Bruder and they gave me a website where I could buy a new tailgate!So happy to have it fixed now !!!!
