My 3 GSP'S are mainly inside dogs, but they have a doggie door to go outside as they please. If there is a mudhole in my back yard, they find it every single time and track it right into my house.I bought the longest rug in hopes it would at least lessen the amount of dirt and mud being tracked into my home. It works! The soft chenille absorbs my GSP'S dirty paws and traps it! Plus, my GSP'S love to lay on these soft rugs.I bought the dark grey rug so it wouldn't show mud or dirt as bad as the others. I have since bought a total of 3 rugs. One rug is outside on my covered deck in front of the doggie door and two are inside working as "runners". They are super easy to clean. I just shake the rug out on the wood floor (or outside), sweep up the dirt and throw the rugs in the washer and put the rugs in the dryer on delicate. The non-slip backing after washes are as good as new and doesn't break down like other rugs can. Highly recommend!

Bought this, hesitantly. We adopted a rescue Staffordshire Mountain Cur mix, having no idea about the soft downy little undercoat that flitters away underneath the short top coat. We also didn't consider the size of his paws and ALLLLLLLLL the dirt and debris that those big paws collect and track into the house. Every day - EVERY SINGLE DAY - I had to wake up and sweep and mop first thing and several times throughout the day just to be able to walk on my floors barefoot and also to breathe, as I am an animal loving asthmatic. It was tedious, frustrating and overwhelming to have to sweep the entirety of the areas where re my dogs (plural) would traverse.After reading the reviews, I purchased two of these mats- one for outside the back door, and one for inside, and let me tell you, it has been a TOTAL game changer.Now, let's be realistic- no rug is going to catch every single piece of dust and fur that falls off your fur baby... However, this comes pretty close!Literally it has cut my workload by more than half, and my feet, floor and lungs have seen a HUGE difference!!I now only have to sweep once a day as opposed to several times throughout the day, and there is considerably less dirt and hair- I couldn't believe itThis doggie mat really delivers and makes having a hairy family member much less frustrating and a lot less work!Dust and dirt wise, enormous difference. I no longer feel like a crappy housekeeper and dog owner and I no longer grumble to my secret self about all the extra dirt and fur that clogs my lungs and makes breathing a chore. I basically live life as a regular pet owner and do the regular cleaning expected for people that own pets. HOORAY!!!Now I can enjoy my pets (I have 3 dogs and 2 cats!) and my pets can enjoy playing outdoors, and I can stop dreading the mess that they bring when coming in from outside! I especially love that these are reasonably priced! Overall, a fantastic product that does exactly what it claims to do!

This mat has saved be a ton of work cleaning up after my dog and can when they bring the wet and muddy outdoors inside on their feet.My only dissapointment is that it is so plush I can't open my doors over it, so I had to place another thinner mat by the door and this one adjacent to it.

So I've only had it for a few days so I cant attest to its long term durability BUT I think it is really well made & I expect it to be long lasting seeing the excellent quality of it compared to other "chenille type rug mats". I have used a number of things, besides plain mats, at my front door trying to catch not only the wet snow, ice, mud, dirt, rocks, but also the ice melting pellets and annoying little seeds & nut pieces that get tracked in from a tree in our yard and NOTHING has worked. We do not wear shoes in the house but we might as well because these things get tracked in to the front mat and then tracked across the whole house by the dog and my son's socks! Just one dog outing & I saw a difference! No wet footprints across the floor! No ice melting pellets on my carpet! I can see how this traps everything & absorbs wetness immediately! This is a game changer for me! This might literally save my sanity!!!! It is of great quality - nice & thick & soft on bare feet. I can take off my snow boots and not feel one bit of dampness on my feet! The backing is a nice thick quality rubber backing that grips nicely - no sliding or slippage at all! Like I said it is thick, but does not get in the way of the front door - it still opens & closes just fine over it. I got the 35x26 large size (in Mist color) which is perfect for my entryway as a mat for normal weather but I definitely would like the runner for winter so the first part of my carpet is protected and there's more room for snowpants and snow boots to come off without us huddling on a little mat at the doorway so I just saw the runner (in Mist) is $20 off so I had to take advantage and order it! I normally wouldn't spend that much but after trying out this large size, it's totally worth my sanity!!! The large size is reasonably priced for sure. And because it works so wonderfully i don't think the runner is OVER-priced, but it is above what I am comfortable spending; however w/ the $20 discount and given it is twice the size of this one I will take it! I would not have been able to purchase it had it not been on sale tho. I also just purchased the shammy towel also because this will be a great combo for wiping off the dog after he runs thru 2 ft of snow each time we go outside!! Thank you for making a wonderful product- I hope it holds up for a very long time as I expect it should.UPDATED: So I ordered the runner after loving the large mat so much...for some reason I mistakenly thought the large was 30x26 but it is not...it is 35x26 so when I ordered the runner (30x60) I thought they would be the same width but that was my mistake I got myself confused. I was hoping to use the runner in the same spot as the large mat at the front door just have it come out longer for the winter weather would be helpful. But it was too narrow for my purpose so I kept the large at the front door to continue using as a mat and the runner opposite it at the very first part of my carpet where my shoe tray is and all our outdoor stuff gets dropped! So this works out just as well because I just needed something to cover that portion of my carpet so we don't have to huddle on 1 tiny mat at the door with the dog when trying to take off snow boots/shoes, snow pants, wipe the dogs paws off etc. So now we have extra room to do that and my carpet will not get ruined! I love it! I added the 3rd pic to see the large mat & runner comparison. The scooter and show tray are covering part of the runner but it does go all the way to the wall.

I had my doubts but they do work. I have less mud on my screened in porch because they absorb water and mud from my Weimaraner's paws. They are very soft and the color is exactly what I wanted, somewhere around a dark blue/green. I would buy again.

We live on a large property, the dirt here is more like a fine sand. Our dogs carry it EVERYWHERE! this floor mat has saved my sanity, the amount of dirt and water that this thing can collect is completly insane. I can't even imagine how bad the floors would be if I didn't have this in front of the dog door, we have one on both sides and I absolutely love it. 100% 10/10

Micro fiber is the way to go, Really helps with paw prints. We make the dog sit on the rug for a second when she comes in, makes a big difference.

I ordered this mat to help minimize the amount of dirt and water being tracked inside by my dogs. It is doing a better job than I had hoped. The mat doesn't get their paws perfectly clean, but certainly takes care of enough of the mess that I have less cleaning to do overall. The rubber on the mat is very durable. I've washed it a few times now, and it's holding up well. It's not the foam rubber material that you find on typical mats. This is actually a thin, flexible layer of rubber bonded right to the back. After washing it on cold, I put it in the dryer on a short cycle, followed by hanging to complete drying. Definitely good value for the price.
