The product is good security features are very good the only thing is that they have used plastic for the body which makes it a bit less secure rest it's a good.

I think it's a great idea to have a siren on a lock. Out of the box they work great...I bought 2. One negative review said alarm didn't work...don't know if they knew one side of the shackle has a groove and one way alarm is on or flip it and the other way alarm is off. It's in the instructions but I thought mine was broke too until late I read them. It's a loud siren that takes some jolting to go off which I was uncertain of but a review said it's a good thing so it doesn't go off by accident. One review said the screw seemed cemented in and they stripped it...yes they are stuck in place but after they snap loose they work great. The unit comes with extra batteries...but disarmed so just turn the shackle and leave the screws in. If you need to replace make sure to use a medium size phillips...#2 I think. A smaller one might Strip it. Great product so far...will see how long batteries last

Great lock! Highly recommended!
Great deterrent for anyone wanting to mess with your stuff. I use it for my son's and my rolling toolbox that we hold all of our paintball gear in. Nice feeling to know that when we're out on the field our things are locked up and protected.To the gentleman who gave the lock a three star review because it is too loud. That's the idea! The would be thief can't just simply muffle the sound and noncelantly walk off with your stuff. They will attract attention as loud as the lock is.NOTE: You do not set it off by accident or when you are unlocking it. It only goes off when it is being tampered with.

Works as expected! I used this on my camper ...
Works as expected! I used this on my camper chains while parking overnight at hotels. The wind never set it off but if you forgot it was there and bumped it with your leg it would go off as expected. No complaints!

Battery life I am giving three stars only, because it will be known after long use only. Should work for 1 year atleast.
