ARTLAMP Classsic Bankers Lamp with Green Glass Shade and Antique Brass Base (Green, Brass Base)

I'd been after one of these Banker's Lamps for years and when I finally got around to buying this one I wasn't disappointed. A nice eye-catching feature in any room and the great thing about these lamps is that they never go out of style. This lamp, by far, is one of the best things I've ever bought through Amazon.

Cannot say, since it never arrived, in spite of repeated promises "It's on the way". What's more, the supplier does not reply, except to promise delivery, once more. They have had my money for months and are a seriously bad advert for Amazon.It takes years to acquire a good reputation, but that good reputation is lost in a very short time.The supplier can only be recommended if you want to experience hope, followed by exasperation, then renewed hope followed by even worse exasperation. Repeat ad nauseam.As for the Banker's Lamp itself, best thing is to get your money back and cut out a picture of the lamp and stick it on your computer, as a warning.A really bad experience

Brilliant lamp. Have been thinking of buying one for quite a while. Glad that I did. A pleasant lamp to look at, operate, and luminous quality. Best item that I’ve bought for ages.

The lamp arrived ahead of the forecast, no damage due to the excellent strong packaging. I was immediately impressed with the sturdiness and quality. It now sits on my desk where it has been admired by family and friends. Highly recommended.

Very pleased with lamp, but the LED bulb supplied had a major part of the bulb masked and so glow only appeared over half the shade. Bought a Philips LED bulb ref. 8W (60W) E27 2700K non dimmable warm white. Light now spread across shade and looks great

Arrived in a smashed box.

On plugging in the lamp, there was a bang and a flash whilst the plug was still in my hand. All sockets failed. Luckily I have RCD protected circuit. On inspection, the wires in the plug had been stripped bare of insulation back to the point of entry and caused a short circuit. There could have been a different outcome had I not had RCD protection.It was a case of rewiring the plug, but other customers should be forewarned.

I love the product it was a gift, and the biggest surprise and glee was from the beautiful chord /on off switch.I would recommend this product to anyone who loves authentic beautiful retro designs and at a very reasonable cost.
