DEWALT DCS373B 20V Max Lithium Ion Metal Cutting Circular Saw (Tool Only)

This little guy packs more of a punch than expected. I’ve cut 1/2”x 6” flat bar and I was shocked. So much better than a grinder with a cut off wheel. And a lot less messy. Cuts with ease and a very impressive tool all around. It’ll eat some battery life but it’ll cut till it’s dead. Doesn’t bind up or vibrate out of your hand extremely easy to use and maneuver. It’s hand quick and clean and extremely portable. It’s pretty light and has a good feeling in your hand.

This is a powerful little saw. Cut through 3/16” steel like butter! Way better than my plasma cutter. Love all of the 20v Dewalt tools. I think I might have them all and love each one!!

Works like a champ on mild steel and aluminum. Made short work of some 10 gauge expanded steel that I needed to cut to size. Coupled with a straight edge, it made cutting the long straight sides a snap. I followed up by cutting a dozen 1" wide strips off a 4' x 4' x 1/8" thick aluminum sheet with ease. Will it cut 1" thick steel deck plate?, probably not, but for under $200 bucks and cordless, I wish I had bought one years ago.

Other reviewers are correct. It does throw a lot of metal chips. But I assumed that it would! I’ve used Milwaukee corded saws with 8” blades for several years. I needed a smaller cordless saw to use when in a scissor lift while 15-20’ up in the air. I’ve watched this Dewalt cordless for a while and finally decided to try one. It is perfect for cutting 1/2” rebar,plunge cutting steel perlins,cutting occasional flat bar, etc. I found it really nice when doing a trim job while in the air rather than handing it down to someone else. I bought 2 Diablo Demon blades along with it. The Dewalt blade like the one that comes with it are expensive! But! I’m still using the original blade so they may not be so expensive after all! We’ll see!🤔 When first starting the little saw it doesn’t sound too fast but cuts excellent.

Professional commercial construction tinner here. Bought this saw because I was tired of lugging the corded band saw provided by my company around the job site. This saw is perfect for cutting sheet metal, uni-strut, all-thread, s-lock, and drive cleats. Had it for about 4 months now, use it almost daily and I’m still on the first blade!

Good saw only have used it once so far, will be giving it a better workout in a few days. Would have appreciated dewalt including wrench/Allen wrench for blade removal though

Works awesome, wear a full face shield as chips fly right in face. Great metal saw

Cut my 4x4 tube like butter. It’s kinda like cutting wood as far as the feel. Just a few sparks.
