Although I purchased this elsewhere, I wanted to leave a review here on Amazon because I know how much I use it to review products before purchasing. Hopefully this will help others.I have been looking at this for a while and was hesitant to take the plunge because I figured it would be cheap and not look like the photo. Boy, was I wrong! It is just as it looks in the picture. The color is a dark brown with red highlights (gives it a lovely coloring). It is super soft and I would think it was real hair if I didn't know it was manufactured. The front are long bangs as shown (you can trim if you need to) and the sides and back are all perfectly formed curls. The photos I am posting are of it right out of the package and just finger combed into place after it's long journey here. The first three photos are without a flash so it looks a tad dull. It actually has a nice shine to it ... about halfway between the three non-flash photos and the last one (the inside) that is with a flash.Underneath are two elastic bands with hooks that can be repositioned to fit the wearer's head. I have it on it's tightest setting to fit on my toddler-size mannequin (17" head circumference).
