In the listing photo it shows a clear slot on top for a label. These did not come with a slot for a label. No big deal though.Out of the 9 reels we had, one tab broke when assembling the reels (the reels come separated and you have to pop them together). It leaves that one kind of flimsy, but still works.We have a big assortment of lights. We bought these for our roof line lights which are those large Christmas bulb lights. I do not recommend these for those type of lights. Instead, we used these reels on the typical size lights, garland, and icicle lights. Works great for those strands. We could fit around 30ft of lights on one reel.The bags seem thick, but I’m a seamstress and I’m sure these will have to be repaired or replace after a few years (I like my storage solutions to last for a decade plus). I had to really yank, push, and pull to get the reels full of lights into the bags, so I’m afraid the seams will start to pop. Once in, the bags were easy to zip up. These may surprise me and last us a long time.4 stars for the tab on a reel breaking. Wish the bags were a little bit bigger around to fit larger lights.In the end like these and may buy more next year when we add more lights to our crazy Christmas light decor outside. The bags fit way more lights than the popular plastic tubs with the flat light organizers.

I bought these after the Christmas season of 2017 (late taking decorations down AND writing a review lol) and I'm so glad I found these. While I have bought some that I was not impressed with, these were great. The reels fit a little loose inside the bag but that is a good thing if you're putting a bit larger bulb on them and not the mini lights.As you put the lights around the reel, and get to the end of winding, some of the bulbs do have a tendency to stick out a bit. With the bit of extra space to work with between the reels and the bag you don't have to force the reels back inside the bag. Common sense would then be to just use a bit of caution and not bang the bags around. I may end up looking for more of these bags next season too so I can replace some of the bags I bought before that I wasn't impressed with.The reels have to be snapped together (space saving for shipping) but are easy to do.

Before buying reels I wound my my Christmas lights and shoved each strand into a plastic bag, then into a storage container. We have about 10 strands of lights and it was a mess each November I brought them back out again... These reels solve a lot of that problem. They comfortably hold about 200 lights each and I found that putting my lights up this year went a lot quicker because I'd just unwind the reel as I went. I don't yet have all my lights on reels but will be buying again soon.

First impressions are good. You have to assemble the reels but that just take seconds and no tools are required. I can (barely) get two 15 foot, 50 light (LED, medium sized) strands on one reel. Actually, the lights of the second strand are just barely extending beyond the edge of the reel, but it will easily fit into the red outer cover. The entire setup isn't going to provide much shock or drop protection for the lights, but keeps them clean, easy to find, and easy to wind and unwind. Why only 4 stars? The reels are a bit flimsy. If I get 5-7 years out of this, I'll be pleased. Anything beyond that? Possible but we'll have to see.

What I didn't understand is that I would have to match up a bunch of little plastic knobs into slots and click the 2 sides of the reels together. Easier said than done, being that plastic doesn't always line up well. Two of the reels went together without a hitch. The third reel I finally had to step on to get it together after unsuccessfully trying a knife and a screwdrivier to move the plastic and of course, the plastic knob broke off. It still stays together but was a hassle for a 75 yr old woman! Once together, they are great. Storage bag is roomy - each reel holds 2 strings of 100 mini lights.

I first bought these in January 2019. Today, January 30, 2020 they're almost $50. Almost double in price!!! Unfortunately there aren't a lot of alternatives.But its a great product. Nothing was broken on shipment and nothing broke during use. I was able to fit 1 strand of 150 LED lights on each spool. Great for high capacity storage.

They were smaller than I expected but overall I was able to wrap 200 C9 bulbs using all three reels. The storage bag is really nice. Very roomy and we were even able to store the garland and timer that we use with these lights in the same bag.Upping from 4 to 5 stars because of how easy it was to put my lights back up on the house this past Christmas. I was literally unrolling the lights as I clipped them to the house (I clip to the gutter) and it couldn't have been easier. I've extended the number of light strings on the house this year and have ordered more of these reals to store them.

Love it!!! Fits all of our lights neatly and all in a bag!! Takes up way less space than how we use to store them. We have about 12 strands of lights and got ALL 12 strands on the reels and in the bag plus another extra strand that had its own reel in the red bag. Very pleased with our purchase and would highly recommend this product to those looking for good way to store lights. Was nervous at first because some reviewed it saying only held 200 lights if that- well proved that wrong!!! 4 strands of 100 lights each fits and fits in red bag still- boom!!! The reels do seem flimsy at first but they do their job and it works! See pics for proof.
