Ten Little Fingers and Ten Little Toes

Great story about how all babies are born just as equal and as special as the next
Absolutely classic story, read this at Bookbug sessions. I had it as a board book but it had been well loved when my daughter was a teething baby, she much prefers this size now she is older and can enjoy the calming illustrations. This version comes with a removable cover and on the back of it is a poster of the ten little babies. My book had a big dent on the front when it arrived, but you wouldn't notice it on the wall unless you knew it was there.

Beautifully illustrated baby book.
Sent to my son's new baby, it was a book he had and loved as a child, helps children to count recognise nose eyes fingers etc. It is beautifully illustrated in water colours.

Fun and cute
This is very cute. It's a lovely rhyming story about little babies all over the world who all have ten little fingers and ten little toes. It helps your child learn about other places and cultures but does so in a very unobtrusive, non-lecturing way. At heart, it's just a simple rhyme, and it ends with three kisses on the nose so your child knows it's time to sleep!

I love the diversity of babies in this book
I read this book to my daughter and make it interactive by playing with her fingers and toes at the same time. What I really love about this book is the diversity of babies represented, lots of different nationalities.

Read dozens of times - still a joy
I bought this book for my granddaughter some time ago and now that she is nearly two, it is still her favorite book. The simple rhyming language is almost musical and the illustrations fit the words beautifully. My granddaughter has made it an action book as well - when the recurring refrain says "ten little fingers" she enjoys pressing her hands onto the page; and on the page saying "and ten little toes", she puts both feet (preferably barefoot) onto the page!

My child loves this one!
The quality of the book is excellent and perfect for our 15 month old child. At first she seemed a bit hesitant but then after we flipped through it she wanted to read it over and over again and each time showing us her "ten little fingers" and her "ten little toes". The part she likes best however is the end when she gets her 3 little kisses. This book is one of those she likes to read everyday.

Simply the most beautiful and sweet book
Gorgeous pictures and simple sweet rhymes make this an absoute pleasure to read with your child. Lots of lovely big baby faces so even at a few months old he would touch the pictures and giggle.I still get a little lump in my throat for the last few pages. Gorgeous.

Such a lovely book!
I love this book! My baby really enjoys the rhythm and loves it when I tickle her fingers and toes along with the words. It is the perfect length with a good number of words. However, my favourite thing is the ending- just gorgeous!

Such a wonderful gift
I am an infant development specialist and I always buy this book as a gift for a new baby. Everything about it is charming; from the illustrations to the accessibility for little hands, to the lyrical prose that promotes interaction between baby and parents. The perfect book for our little ones.
