Not only do they refuse to climb the legs anymore they won't even come eat whats on the ground. Contrary to the picture they should typically be on the inside of the legs. Well worth the money! **Q: If I lay some of these around the edge of my patio would it keep the neighborhood cats away?** A: Probably not. **Q: What is this made of?** A: I believe it's make out of a galvanized iron strip. The teeth are small sharp triangles cut into the metal strip then pushed to point up. **Q: Can this be put in mulch to stop deer from walking along my house front beds and and eating my bushes?** A: I doubt it. You probably need to put a lot because deer can jump the 5 feet fence and get in anyway.
