Myself Belts - Boys' Easy Belts for Kids and Toddlers

The fastener is bulky. My son doesn't really care for it at all.This doesn't come with a buckle (can be ordered separately for decoration), which is fine, but where it attaches (in an odd spot off to the side) it is bulky. My son is 7, and a very skinny child (who needs a belt) which may be an issue, but he said it hurt when he would sit, tried two different sized belts (to be sure) and plenty of different styled pants. Same issue- you could physically see on his body when he stood up where it was fastened.Maybe if the belt were thinner it would work better.Gave one away, the other is in a drawer and i won't be ordering again. This did work as a belt (it functions as it says it does), which is why i gave it a 3.

Order a size larger than what you measure at or measure over thick clothes. My son wears 2T but I measured him around the waist (under clothes) and he was 20.5” so went with size Small or 3T. I should’ve listened to the reviews that said order larger but I thought I already was going from 2T to 3T. It’s almost too small over his jeans. I just got this today so I’m not sure how well it will hold up. I may even exchange it for a medium. We will see when he lets me put it on him tomorrow. Other than sizing, this seems like a great belt.

I sew. I know how to measure. I did exactly how the myself's website stated to measure. My daughter's belt will fit, but only for a few months if she does not have a growth spurt. I am sure the next size will be too large and hang out funny. I wish there was a little more room in the one I ordered that was based on her measurements (her measurements were the first number in the medium size). It would not look funny if there was more room. I can barely put a couple of fingers in the belt when it is on. I had bought this same type of belt from this company years ago when my eldest child was young. I like the belts since they do not have to know how to use a bucket. With my eldest daughter's belt the Velcro lasted a year. If the cost was less, I would be happier since the size does not seem true to fit.

This belt is wonderful! My kindergartner had to wear a belt this year. I was worried he'd have trouble with it, especially when it came time to go to the bathroom. He was so proud of himself after trying this belt and successfully "buckling" it all by himself! "Buckling" is simply just velcro!! Love love love this belt. Very sturdy. Even went through wash once accidentally and is perfectly fine. Worth the price!!! My son's waist measures 21in. and he wears a size 5t. The medium works well.

We’ve been using myself belts since they came out. Our original ones have made it through 3 kids and even the washing machine and still hold up. So when my 3 year old was ready to start wearing a belt to church I was quite happy to find they came in a dressy leather version. Myself belts are so easy to use since they’re velcro, I even still use myself belts for my 2nd grader so she doesn’t have problems with her belt at school. They stay on well with the snap attachment that an adult can help with in the morning.

So the only reason I didn’t give this belt 5 stars is because it doesn’t fit him. Too small. My son just turned 6 two weeks before ordering the belt for school because...well...he just turned 6 and can’t do his belt. So he is a little tall for his age so I thought 7-8 would be fine since he’s currently wearing 6-7 shorts and so 7-8 should have been plenty long enough. Since I’m giving this 3 stars, you guessed it. It barely fit. And by barely, I mean my husband can get it to work but I can’t. So I basically have to order the larger size 9-10 for my just turned 6 year old. But I also gave it a 3 instead of 1 because it’s an awesome concept and my son can work it. Buyer beware of size! When in doubt go larger!!

My kindergartner has to wear a belt every day with his school uniform, and this belt has been wonderful! He can do it himself easily and quickly, which is helpful in the morning, but most of all, very important for bathroom breaks at school! Worth every penny. I am ordering the next size up because he is outgrowing his. Fits very true to size. I ordered a 5T and now is getting into size 6 pants and needs a 6 in this belt too. Highly recommend!

works good + fits good + super easy for kid to operate. There isnt much for adjustment and it probably wont bind around waist as tight as a standard belt could which wouldnt be too healthy anyway. If you are handy, then it wouldnt be too hard to place velcro on one end in different place for shortening.Bought for my 4 foot tall 50 pound 6 year old who wears size 6 but a couple size 7 pants with length shortened.
