Over all the expensive gifts my 11 year old son received this year for Christmas, this was his favorite. For a space lover, this is the perfect gift.

Galaxy came very well packed and in perfect condition. My hubby was impressed with it too. Love it and get good vibes from it. Sooo Happy...OOPS spoke too soon...battery died within 5 minutes. Will give them them the benefit of the doubt, product sat on shelf for long time? Will buy new battery and see how long light lasts. Oh well, live and learnUpdate; decided to buy a separate light source, not battery. I got one which had a on/off button up front so I don't have to keep touching the galaxy, leaving fingerprints. OMG, it is sooo beautiful. Love it

This was part of an anniversary gift for my husband along with a telescope. Since he has an interest in astronomy, he loved it. Nice size and seems well made. Box lining was frayed but I fixed it before presenting.

I loved it for about 36 hours. Then I had to order new batteries. Unfortunately the batteries it takes was available in my small town. I removed the dead batteries. The thing in the bottom also came out. Wasn't sure which side was supposed to be the top. I managed to get the new batteries in. They lasted shorter than the original batteries. If I could get a partial refund and I bought a new bottom. I would be happy.
