This charger is JUNK. Do not buy one! I bought this unit in Aug. 2019. I didn't have an occasion to use it until Oct. When I tried to use it for the 1st time it did not work. I contacted Smart Tech and they sent me a new unit out. I used it a couple of times and it also quit working. The seller I purchased the charger through on Amazon said the unit was past the return period even though I had had two of them that didn't work, so they have been no help. Don't have much good to say about them either. BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

This is a no brainer, you can’t connect it backwards, it pretty much does it all for you , I go through a battery charger every two years, they overheat and the timer quits working and burn up , this one sets everything for you , hook it up plug it in and your done , it will let you know when the barista fully charged,

So far I have no complaints for this machine. It has maintained my battery and charged the bigger batteries well. I didn't expect it to charge the dual batteries in the diesel we needed to move. It did well for the jeep that sat for a few months witjout being started. I am sure my wife could use it is she needed. I received it in excellent packaging and no damage. I feel it is built well. I am not sure it would be a great use for a large mechanic shop but the small mechanic or home it has been excellent for the price I paid.

Good quality

Won't charge. It runs a diagnostic and decides whether battery needs. It calls a dead battery a bad battery, and says need replacing. It refuses to charge it. The other charger I have charged the battery fine, and the battery is as good as new. Fancy brain doesn't work. Can't turn it to manual operation. Useless.

Works great

Well, after less then a month this charger failed. It will not charge above 6VDC and will not Boost Start. Not worth $5.00 let alone $200.00. My last charger lasted over 30 years and cost me $150.00, made in the U.S. Everything now is from China and has no lasting quality, too bad...
