A well made ankle holster. As it does NOT come with a calf strap, this holster model when wearing a normal sock and street shoe will slip down and ride low on the ankle just above the shoe. If you’re wearing the right pants, this may not be an issue for you. Sure, I could tighten it more, but then you cut off blood circulation. The “low ride” takes getting used to. With a boot, you will, of course, have a different experience. I have the strapless model (AG158B) which does securely hold a SW642. Note: It is too small for a SW60 J frame.

I have been using this ankle holster for a couple of months now for my .38 acp Airweight and .357 640. Both fit well and there is an tension adjustment screw to adjust the draw. Premium leather and can fit most ankles very well. There is very good padding to shield the ankle bone fir comfortable wear. Galco makes a superior leather product and this is no exception.

I purchased this ankle holster after I searched and researched for weeks. I am so happy, fit my 442 perfect and is supper comfortable all day long. This does not stick out, so not noticeable on me. The only issue getting use to is getting in/out of a low sitting vehicle and the holster knocking into the bottom door frame. That is the only issue I've experienced. Super happy with this holster.

Great Holster, super comfortable. I use it with a S&W 642. This brand/company was recommended to me by a good friend and now I understand the praise it was given. This version I bought is the open top version with friction retention.I will update after a few months of use.
