It looks to go by a fire, but the hinge isn’t sitting flat both sides so the lid doesn’t sit perfectly on snd I think it might scratch easily.

Lovely firefighter boxes. I purchased two for each of our wood burners. The boxes look very smart but inconspicuous too. Keeps everything safe.
