The Strongbow 5L DraughtKeg system is a 5-litre keg format that contains 5 litres of Cider with an integrated carbon dioxide cartridge. This enables consumers to drink fresh quality draught which they can pour themselves. The first pouring contains additional foam? The first glass will often contain additional foam because the line in the keg is filled with C02 gas and not yet with product. This should be eliminated while pouring the second glass provided the product has been correctly refrigerated. If the keg has not been cooled properly, the keg may continue to produce foam. How long can the keg be kept for? Once opened the keg can be kept for 30 days provided it continues to be refrigerated, however always check the best before date on the top rim of the keg.
