New Early Music!
Very good album indeed. I knew Sigrid Hausen and Michael Popp from Estampie and Qntal. Are they capable of doing anything less than top quality? Apparently not. But what sort of album is it? It's kind of like Early Music but it isn't really. It uses material from pre-Reconquista Spain, some Christian, some Arab and some Jewish, but the production values are undeniably modern which makes it much more satisfying to listen to unless you are an Early Music purist.The CD gives you all the lyrics but only in the original languages and alphabets!

Fantastic to see live, as well as to hear on CD
Oh well, we have seen El Andaluz project live in The Netherlands and that was a fantastic experience. And, as is not Always the case, this comes across on this CD as well. Great work!

Buenísima agrupación. Totalmente recomendable. Escúchalos atentamente,. tanto con lo árabe como con lo sefardí. Maravillosos. Cualquiera de sus discos es genial.
