Great fit - as expected. Really good quality cotton and nicely put together. The shorts are so comfortable and seem very hard wearing. The abundance of pockets is a great feature.

Overall I am very pleased with these shorts, fit , quality and depth of pockets . But I was attracted to the lightweight description as I wanted to wear these in +25’c type climate. These are made from a cheap thick cotton which so far easily adsorb staining. They would be very hot to wear in humid climates, great for cooler temperatures though

I spend my entire life in shorts (outside of work) and I have bought about 8 pairs of these across the various colours.The size comes up fairly accurately I think, I go with a 36 as I prefer them to be a bit baggy. There is no belt supplied, but I have my own belt, so that really wasn't a problem.I go to a lot of music gigs and there is a lot of jumping and moshing and generally being a drunken fool and these have been sturdy enough to take me through everything.For me the key element is the zip cargo pockets. With all the movement I am doing I always used to be terrified of my phone or wallet falling out of cargo shorts with a button or velcro pocket (either by accidental opening or through the gaps you get even when closed). The zip pockets solve this comletely. The zip pockets are large enough for all the important items in my life (phone, wallet, vape pen) and they are 100% safe when zipped up.As I mentioned I have bought around 8 pairs of these over a number of years.The only slight downside is that the grey colour does bleach eventually in the sun, but that would.be expected on anything with very frequent use (the khaki and the green colours stay fine), but even the bleached colour isn't too bad and then I just order another pair.Genuinely the best item of clothing I have ever found - and the only pair of cargo shorts I have found with the zip pockets - which are the best invention ever!!!!

These are really well made, good quality and very comfortable.

Shorts are ok but come as a big size maybe order a size down its up to you this is only my experience the colour I ordered was grey once opening them they are more like a black than a grey didn't end up having them sent back

Actually surprised by the size and quality. I’m 6’9” tall, 42” waist and these were great. Struggle to find clothes to fit but these were just great. Really useful zipped side pockets, metal sturdy zips too. They are quite harsh colour but once they fade a bit, all good.

Good fit but material not as durable for ever day outdoor wear really. Nice looking though and good price.

I always hated shorts. Even the "bermuda" type. I dont find them comfortable and have avoided them. I also am not a fan of warm summers. I know that I am an exception there, but I hope this illustrates my dilemma. I recently purchased 2 of these because when doing home improvement or garden jobs comfort is not in my mind, pocketspace is! And a whole new world was reveiled to me. These. are. comfortable!!!!I purchased two more and now I wear them every day, even with sub-20 temperatures.Obviously, when all four side pockets are loaded, walking is a but bulky. But still, not uncomfortable.The first pair have been abused: a full kg of nails on both sides and a hammer and pliers in my back pockets. No wear and tear and I still can use them when going out.Bonus: you look like a cool construction worker, even if you never held a hammer in your life.
