As a longtime fan of the Paris-based Diptyque collection, I am now happily surprised to find this sustainably sourced and ethically produced candle that conveys all the best traditions of the iconic Bodhi Tree Book Store in one small package.Blissfully opening the origami-inspired box was a simple act of discovery that shifted the rhythm of the day and allowed a sense of awareness and peace to radiate throughout the house. I recognized the Bodhi Tree name as a source of all good things, and what a happy discovery to now see that it's legacy lives on in this perfect harvest of serenity. The search is over. This is the perfect candle.

Wow! This isn't just a fabulous smelling candle. I was happily surprised that it came with it's own 'candlelight vigil' experience roadmap too!When you open the perfectly simple yet elegant box, there's a beautiful card to walk you through the rituals. First, I lit my candle as an ancient symbol of rebirth. Next, I applied the enclosed (golden leaf) tattoo to bring the essence and meaning of this candle with me throughout my day.The scent is thick with nostalgia - which I love. I could detect eucalyptus, myrrh and cedar, with whispers of jasmine, sandalwood and a smoky juniper. It's has such a deep from nature aroma and it sticks around too!Once I've burned all the wax, the instructions invite me to leave my cherished keepsakes in the empty glass vessel which also has a beautiful golden leaf tattoo on the side. I think I just might do that ;-)Can't wait to try the other scents too!

Small but heavily scented and smells just like nag champa incense! I was looking for the scent but didn’t want incense, and this works beautifully! Great quality and pretty container, as well.

Smell=wonderful! Not over powering. Perfect :)Size=as described. There is no reason to be disappointed by the size when it specifically listed.

the signature bodhi fragrance is subtle enough that it doesn't overpower a room, but noticeable enough that it provides just the right ambience. the combination of high, mid, and low notes are unique and blended perfectly. reminiscent of the original iconic bodhi tree bookstore in los angeles, it creates a timeless fragrance that both fans of the brand as well as new participants will love. will buy all the scents in the full and travel sizes!

I definitely was expecting something a bit larger. The photo on the listing is misleading. It fits in the center of the palm of my hand. But the candle's scent itself is awesome. I did a "5 senses" gift set for my husband for Valentine's Day, and cedar is one of his favorite scents. He loves it!

Love the warm, woodsy scent of this slow-burning candle. I keep it on my office desk and it fills the room with a lovely scent that's perfect for fall. Would definitely consider this as a gift for a housewarming or holiday party.
