I bought a similar product a few years ago. The other one failed an almost got stuck on my faucet. I just received this one, but I will say it is VERY sturdily constructed and I feel like it is going to last. It has a barrel key, where the other one had a magnetic key. I feel as if having an actual mechanical operation involving turning the key, as opposed to the little magnet, is a huge plus. Unless it fails because something breaks internally, I don't feel like I will have the same problem as the other lock. I would buy it again for sure. If you are looking for a product like this, get this one. It is comparable to others, but I can tell you from using others, this is better.

Excellent product
I choose this rating because this lock is a solid very good quailty brass lock. Easy to use and installs with no tools. I dont feel there is much risk with this lock of it breaking in place risking it having to be cut off and wrecking your tap as I have read in other reviews of different models of tap locks. I would definately recommend this lock for anyone looking to lock up their water taps to prevent water theift.
