Carly for VAG Original Plus WIFI OBD2 Adapter - Best VAG App with iPhone

First of all bought the for the BMW adapter worked really well, same as this one, used only for service functions not coded anything yet.Worth mentioning you have to buy in app add on to use more functions then demo ones, even to reset the service request.

I bought this adapter in order to reset the service interval and put the handbrake into service mode on my Audi A5. They advertise that this can all be done using the lite version of the app, so thought great, as I'm a DIYer rather than going main dealer. However it turns out that they haven't actually wrote the program to enable the handbrake to be put into service mode, even if you were to buy the full version of the app at an extra £48.99, rather than use the free lite version. In affect this is an absolute rip off.

Carista with a cheap universal adapter could do more on my Audi A3 8P. I can't speak for the newest models but for VAG I'd say this is pretty limited in functionality. Can't even reset the service indicator. I use Carly for BMW which is excellent so this is disappointing.

Works well for my B7 passat, diagnosed abs fault and clears codes, i did pay for the full app at £48 though. Shame no option to reset battery start stop when fitting new battery

Way too pricey for what it is and does. Full App + hardware is over 100£

This doesn’t do anything and is the slowest device ever avoid

Used on Mk I Audi TT. Connected easily and allowed the Carly for VAG app to diagnose and reset error codes. This is a gateway product, so any limitations to functionality are down to the app, not the adapter.
