FAMILY ORGANIZER STATION - Walnut

Overall, we are very pleased with this purchase. We purchased this organizer to replace our junk drawer which also had open slots under it. I love that it is wall mountable because it keeps everything out of reach from our baby and just at the right eye level for us. We use this item to organize mail, store postage and thank you cards, and keep common items (like tape, a hammer, a tape measurer, scissors, pens, and pencils) easily accessible. The mail organizer has a nice stain and looks much nicer than other mail organizers on the market. It is very handy that the slot dividers can be removed to make the slots larger. This is especially helpful for items larger than letter size. The letters do stick out a bit from their slots. The hooks and bins on the side are nice and deep. Sometimes I hang my sunglasses from them.This organizer would work well with a small semi-circle entryway table under it to mirror the curve of the bottom slot. We have ours in a nook at the base of our stairs, but we tried it a few other places first and I thought it looked odd to have it sticking so far out from the wall with nothing under it.

We looked long and hard to try to find a way to sort/organize our household mail, and nothing we found either in stores or on line really seemed perfect. This, however is as close as we found. There are 8 adjustable compartments, so each member of the family can have his own slot. It also has the 8 key hooks which also help to reduce the clutter of everyone's keys. I was hesitant to order this from a company I never heard of, but although not perfect, it definitely meets our needs.It's not the most attractive piece you'll ever find, but it looks just fine mounted on a wall in our kitchen, and for $54 (price we paid incl shipping), it's worth it. It can also sit nicely on a desk or table. I would prefer it be a little deeper, so business size envelopes/magazines/catalogs would not stick out as far, but that's really just a nit. Compartments on the side are a little small, but usable, we use the large one for outgoing mail.Overall, a very useful, and reasonably well put together unit. It definitely is worth the price.

Looks a lot bigger in the picture than it is, possibly due to expectations about pigeonhole sizes but it is just about the perfect size. There are a few things that could be improved about it. Firstly, it could do with a slot suitable for oversize mail, secondly, the finish could be applied better in some of those hard-to-reach places and thirdly, a choice of colors would be nice (this actually doesn't match what we need).I ended up buying this because it is good value for them money despite its flaws and I may end up using it as a pattern for building something myself.

It looks pretty good (especially from a distance) and it organizes a lot of your stuff. Only thing I wished is that they painted it with more care. You can see it has been sprayed only slightly close to the pockets and not deep enough.By the way, our box was left outside and stayed under the rain for hours. I was so sad to see that thinking the wood must be messed up by then,When I opened the package, it was very nicely packed and stayed all dry inside. So I appreciate that.

I was debating whether or not to try and make a unit like this but came to the conclusion that materials alone would probably be a wash. Needless to say, I am very happy with my purchase. There are a couple of blemishes on the unit I received, but they are hardly noticeable especially while looking at the beautiful "front lip" that is both convenient and pleasing to the eye. The only other thing to note, the side "pockets" are nailed on and CAN come off if you grab it from there. The nails are angled so that it could not come apart even if you put something VERY heavy in it, but pull it up or away from the unit and it can come off. Other than that, a very solid addition to the house that we have gotten complements on already!

Well constructed attractive piece. Works well as a mail or bill sorter. We use it for both. The pigeon holes are a little small especially for my family who tends to let mail accumulate. Also the small holes do not accommodate large or odd sized pieces of mail well. However, it does have a tray at the bottom which will accommodate large or odd sized mail. All in all I'm very satisfied with this piece. It works well for the purpose I purchased it for.

I ordered the organizer. It arrived and I removed it from the box before going to work. It was trash day so I took the box out to the curb as I didn't want to have it around for a week until the next trash day. I didn't inspect it completely at the time, my bad. While at work my wife calls me and says she got a splinter when she picked it up as the left side holder was cracked and damaged down the middle. I got home and took a picture of it and contacted the seller. They asked for a picture of the damage and what I would like to do, refund, get another, or keep it and get 15% refund. I said return for a refund and attached the picture. I received instructions for the return. At the bottom it said in a note "Must be returned with original packaging intact". Well, they got me... I didn't have the original packaging, what I had was a damaged organizer. So I got a $6.30 refund.. shipping was $8.00. I have a box, I have the ability to ship it, it's just not the original packaging. They won on a technicality. So do as I should have done, inspect it closely before getting rid of any packaging material. The item itself, had it not been damaged, is not too bad.

This thing is exactly what I was looking for to contain the mail, keys, spare change, and receipts that get dumped on my kitchen counter when everyone gets home. Now, everything is organized and neat. The organizer is well built and looks much more expensive in person than in the pictures. I was scared it would be made of thin pieces of wood or board, but it is much better quality than that.
