Great product, amazing after sales service.
This review is in two parts. First the product. The system is great. The cameras are really good looking and well made. They certainly look the part when installed. You get the full kit in the box, including miles of cabling and everything else you need. You literally plug in the cameras and it works. No messing about with long setups, just plug and play. So, my recommendation for anyone looking to get this system is, absolutely, you can't go wrong, especially for this sort of money. Now the second part. As I was installing it, the wind blew a door closed on one of the cables. All was still good with the image on screen, so I went ahead with the install. After routing all of the cables and crimping on the rj45's, I plugged it in, and... No picture on that camera. A cable tester showed that 2 pins were broken. I contacted the seller as I had read that only 4 pins were used, and so I was hoping they could give me technical info so I could re-order the pins in the plugs. They came straight back with an offer to send me a brand new cable for free. Even though I had caused the problem myself.I replied asking if they could still find out the technical info as it would be easier than stripping out the cable. They replied that even though they do not recommend doing it they would consult their technical department to get the latest specs and pass that on, however they advised that the free cable was the best option in their opinion. At this point I decided to follow their advice and go with the cable. They immediately replied and sent the cable. Every communication was fast, and the support excellent. So with regard to buying, the product is great, and the after sales support is second to none. I can't see why you wouldn't buy it.

Brilliant quality and cheaper to install
I have worked in the Alarm and CCTV industry selling and occasionally fitting professional systems in Schools, Local Authority buildings and Commercial premises. Many of these systems are priced at over £50K. So why did I pick this CCTV rather than one I could get from work? The answer is simply the cost. The DVR @1TB can be multi-layered in such a way as to allow 60 days of recorded. Being POE (Power of Ethernet) there's no need for me to install a separate power source to work the CCTV system. I installed a switch of 1/8 that allows me to extend the system from 4 to 8 cameras. This allowed me to add the doorbell and internal living room camera from HIVE by assigning the additional IP addresses the splitter allowed me to have. The software is easy enough to install, it's plug & play. The cameras can be installed in to a TV using an HDMI lead, or in my case, I added it to my home PC. plugging the HDMI from one screen into the DVR. As the system was running on my WIFi (you can only get a stable signal on 2.4Ghz & not on 5Ghz) we could view the CCTV cameras from any one of the home TV's, adding Ipad, Galaxy Note, Huawei mobile & Iphone XR by scanning the QR code that came with the installation booklet.Overall it took two of us a morning to install the cameras and entire CCTV. Finally, why didn't I get a system from work? It would be overkill. This system is more than adequate for installing at home. A DVR that lasts 30 days out of the box without the know-how on extending the time etc is long enough.I would recommend this system to anyone looking for a good home system that doesn't cost the earth and can be fitted by someone who knows how to use a cordless screw driver.

Good cameras in a budget but app is poor
Overall quite happy with the set when price is considered as this is significantly cheaper than the big brands. Setting cameras and box up is very easy. Picture quality is reasonably good. Night vision isn’t amazing but ok especially for a budget option. Not quite got to grips with getting motion detection quite right yet but haven’t spent much time on it.Biggest issue I have is the app from Sannce which allows you to remotely view cameras. When it works it’s ok but it often doesn’t. Tried it on various phones and it is plagued with problems. I have 3 cameras currently installed but the app often only shows one and sometimes doesn’t load images at all. They really need to invest in a better app to encourage repeat custom as this is something that could put me off using Sannce again.

Worst Kit ever. Spend your money else where
UPDATEDo not buy this kit it is a waste of time and money. You will end up doing the same as me which is taking it all back down and sending it back to amazon since there customer service is useless. They do not admire the 2 year warranty that is claimed to be on the device. Want you to pay to repair there fauly camera's that do not last more than 6 months at a time. Spend the extra money and go with Reo-Link.I sadly bought 2 of these devices and now need to take both of them down and replace it all.So far setup was nice and easy, Device works like it should other than you can not log in online to see the cams as the browser is too new? So wish they would update that for us all so that can be sorted. Cable lengh is OK could do with being a bit longer if you are wanting to run the cables round to the back of the house other than that it is has been Good

Great quality cameras and excellent customer support
I bought these cameras as they had a very keen price point. 4x HD cameras including a 1tb HDD for less than £180 seemed a great price. The product was well packaged, I bought extra ethernet cable and connectors but the supplied cables were more than enough to get me up and running without needing any extra.I installed the NVR in my attic and used home plugs to connect it to my router, rather than running a separate ethernet cable through a wall from my router to the attic. It made it much easier. Installing the cameras was very simple, Ran cable through soffits and into attic to the NVR.I set up the base station using a TV then took it away after it was set up as I mostly check the cctv using the app on my phone. After sales support was very good as well. I had an issue with one camera where the image was flipped the wrong way around. I received great instructions on how to remedy this.Night vision on the cameras is very good.Overall I would highly recommend these cameras
