Japanese Black Pine Sprouted! :)
It's only been about 2 weeks since I started everything, but so far so good. The Black Pine has already germinated, which I don't think should have happened yet? But hey, I'm not complaining!No sign yet from the Dawn Redwood, but that's another week or so out according to the instructions. The Wisteria seeds should have germinated by now I think, but so far only mold is growing on them in the bag. I might just place them in the soil at this point and see what happens.Overall, I'm pretty happy with everything. I didn't expect all of the seeds to germinate, but everything that comes in the kit is well worth the price. I am pretty excited about the Black Pine that sprouted!Edit/Update: 3 of the 4 Black Pines sprouted and 1 of the Dawn Redwoods Sprouted. So far the Wisteria have been lazy, but 4 seeds sprouting is pretty exciting!

I ordered this kit, as I always had a interest in Bonsai's. I made my purchase based on the description provided, I received the package on time in great condition, opening box I found that all items listed were provided with one small flaw, Two of the seed containers were opened. Really didn't think much of it. Following instructions I planted all 3 trees, two of the seeds planted, and come to find out that they were the same, the Japanese Wisteria. I'm currently waiting on the third tree, the Dawn Redwood The two trees that did sprout are doing well and right now are waiting for the Spring time so I can repot them. I did contact Superfly Bonsai and they are sending me my Japanese Black Pine. I am satisfied with Superfly Bonsai and will continue to order products from them as I want to expand my knowledge/skills in the art of Bonsai

I liked the instructions as they are easy to follow. Great materials that came with it. The only drawback is that I Sow my seeds Feb 10th and it is March 10 meaning a whole month. redwood and Black Pine did not pop up. Bad seeds?However the Wisteria, with the larger seeds is doing great. I got one seed from that wisteria that I have a 1 1/2 inch tall tree that just started.Wished I had more success with the other seeds.I gave this product 3 stars due to, not having success with the Redwood or Black Pine. If I had one of each of those growing.Than this product would receive 5 stars!

Kind of disappointed.
Got the starter kit. Mine only came with three sets of seeds. Then I noticed that they sent two of the same kind. One of Japanese Wisteria and two of Dawn Redwood, no Japanese Black pine. Kind of disappointed.

Molded seeds
I bought this as a gift for my husband and was disappointed when the wisteria seeds had molded even after 5 days of soaking them and putting them in wet paper towels as per instructions. It seems like a lot of work for very little reward and am not happy with the quick result.
