Great whole room heater . Never want to use anything else

We ordered this for our unfinished basement primarily because of the auto restart feature due to power outages. Upon going through a very meager instruction book, we learned that the unit is not recommended for bare concrete. We also found out thru testing the unit for auto restart it would indeed come back on but only to a factory set temperature of 68 degrees. A call to the factory confirmed that the restart temp could not be adjusted. This made the unit unacceptable. We had to pay return shipping fees of $52.00 plus a 20% restocking charge, all because the description provided was not complete. Not a positive experience.The unit itself seemed to function fine except for its limitations, thus the 3 stars.

This is not worth the trouble nor cost. I bought one so I wouldn't be spending more on heating oil.....1000sqft it can't even heat 10 x 14 room. with carpeting , drapes ......don't waste your time money and energy.

Other than being more pricey than some, this is a great heater. Ours just died after 7 years of use.

awd excellent condition

I have 2 of these and they have saved me over $100 off my heating bill every month for the cold season for the past 2 years. I am able to turn my heat pump down to the point it only comes on when it's below freezing outside, otherwise these do the job. I have looked at others but this one has the most heating elements and has the best warranty. The quality is also top notch as it is solid wood, not plastic or metal like the others. The best part is it has an actual built in thermostat, the others don't. Saves more money because it actually shuts off as needed.
