These are three star, no frills chocolate truffles - the chocolate shell enrobing the soft, milk chocolate and caramel truffle middle is a bit over-sweet and isn't of the quality of, say, Thorntons, - it tastes a bit like Mars chocolate.The truffle middle isn't liquidy, but it is very soft, and has a rich, unctuous mouth feel. Very nice and velvety, like a proper chocolate truffle should be.For under twenty quid for chocolate truffles weighing 1kg and giving you over sixty chocs, this product represents fair value for money.I got these to stash away for Christmas, but me and the OH have already broken into the box to give them a trial run as it said "orange parfait' on the small label on the box and we didn't want them for Christmas if they were the wrong ones as neither of us are keen on orange flavoured chocolate. But it was just the label.The packaging is a straightforward, plain cardboard box with two layers of chocs straggling along flimsy inserts. But that's fine for us, it's the chocolate we're after, not fancy packaging. The BB date said 200/2018. Not sure what the 200 meant, but the chocs should see us through Xmas.If you're a chocolate connoisseur, then you'll probably be better off paying a lot more and going up-market, as these are basic chocolates.That doesn't mean they're not nice, they are. They don't have the chocolate 'hit' of Monty Bojangles, but they're cheap and cheerful.

No quite as tasty as I was hoping for, but not bad considering the volume supplied for £15.. Packaged well as in the photographs and was delivered in 2 days on 3-5 day delivery.
