Replica Wall Mounted ER Post Box Or Letter Box - Black

This item looks great but as said on previous reviews, it does let in water in heavy rain. Think it gets in round the door. I am going to try and put some silicone round the edge to act as a barrier.

Delivery was prompt and super fast, however the locking mechanism on the post box was missing, so deemed the whole unit useless. Returned for a replacement.

it looks great but it has leaked when raining so the post is wet. Going to seal the door to prevent this happening

Not as solid as an original Riyal Mail postbox and unfortunately it’s not waterproof. It let’s in rain which was a prime concern to try and eliminate and keep post dry. It’s an “alright” product - nothing to get excited about.

This is honestly bigger than we thought it would be. To be fair the description does give you the dimensions but we didn't look at it. We just kinda assumed a size. Plus it is actually a little bigger than advertised, but only by a cm or so each way. We debated on even putting it on our house for fear it would look ridiculously big. We definitely don't fear it will fill up. Before you buy one check the measurements and make sure you are ok with it.The box is decently made it is not heavy at all for it's size. Hanging it was easy enough. But I had my wife hold it on the wall while marking the location of the holes and again when I put in the first screws.We have yet to get any water in ours but I would not be surprised if we got a little in a bad rain storm.Over all not a bad box it looks great. Just make sure you are happy with the size.
