Mini Magnetic Stirrer Mixer for Lab, Kitchen, Brewing, and Yeast with Stir Plate Pill Bar

I tested this stirrer with a 500 ml Florence flask, and it was able to stir the water thoroughly from top to bottom. I will do a more thorough test when I use it to prepare a yeast starter for my homebrew. I will try to update this review if I have any problems, but if it continues to work I will probably not amend this review. One feature I liked is the dial that allows one to slowly increase the speed of the stirring when starting.

Overall construction is reasonably robust (though all plastic, as one might expect at this price point). The instructions are minimal, but the stirrer is simple enough that it was a complete non-issue. My use-case involves using the machine to stir an alcohol bath through a thick plastic container, which the machine has no problem doing. The stirring rod was a bit off balance, but at this price point that's certainly not worth taking a star off for (and doesn't affect the reliability of the machine, just the noise produced at high speed).If I had one complaint it would be that the suction-cup-feet of this machine are too close together, but that's limited by the overall small body size of the machine, so for larger containers you might want to look at additional supports.Overall my expectations were exceeded, and barring catastrophic failure in the future I'm very happy with my purchase.
