Minnetonka Women's Baja Moccasin

I have been wearing Minnetonka mocs for years. I ordered this pair in the size I usually wear. I found out, as many reviewers said, these moccasins were actually painful to wear the first time I put them on. The other mocs I have worn have all been leather, so they stretched quickly. These moccasins are canvas, so they do not stretch as readily as leather. I found them uncomfortably narrow across the widest part of my foot, where the leather tie goes across. They actually left deep red marks on my feet. If you have bunions , they might be too painful for you. I thought they were so beautiful though, I was determined to wear them. So I walked around in them for about 10 minutes the first night. The next day I wore them for few minutes at a time throughout the day and evening. I found that each time, I was able to wear them for longer and longer periods of time. The next day was rainy, and I wore them out to run some errands. While they did not get soaked, they did get damp, and I think that actually helped with the stretching. After a third full day, they are now as comfortable as my past leather moccasins. I am going to go back and purchase the turquoise ones! If you are patient and take the time to let them stretch out over a few days, I think you'll be very happy you got them!

Reviews were confusing. Too big, too small, too narrow, size up, size down. Holy geez! Anyway, i'm normally 7-71/2, depending on style of shoe. Went with the 7, mainly because they were on sale for $25, and not the style of shoe that I would wear socks with. The length was perfect, but they were a little tight across the top of my foot. So, I did put on a pair of socks and wore them around the house all day. Now they are the perfect, comfy fit. I love these mocs. I would agree with size up recommendation if you wear socks with your mocs.

Love Minnetonkas, I've been wearing their classic suede Mocs for about a decade. These do not fit like the classic suede fringe Mocs in any way. I purchased these as a gift, so because she wears a true 5.5 I went with the size 6 - as others have said they run narrow. We had to return them for a 6.5 because they were awfully uncomfortable being so narrow towards the toes ..which was concerning because most 6's are huge for her. Thankfully these weren't too large length wise. She's currently wearing them around the house to break them in and says they're fitting better everyday- so don't be afraid to work them in around the house for a few days. It's worth having a comfy pair of shoes perfectly shaped to your own feet. Other than the wonky fit, the colors are beautiful and rich-not too bright, so they look great with blue jeans and most anything neutral or earth toned. The fabric is lovelier in person.

My dad wore moccasins as "house" shoes and I've always been attracted to the same comfort. Minnetonka has a great reputation, and these were absolutely irresistible, so despite no Wide sizes, I got them anyway. They are molding to my bizarre foot shape the more I wear them and they are surprisingly comfortable despite the fact I normally wear very built-up-sole shoes. I am not a goofy shoe-person, but these are making me very happy, and I have great memories of my dad!

The shoes are cute, exactly as pictured, look well made and came quickly. I am however returning them as the fit is just strange. They are narrow but as others reviewed said it would stretch out a bit so I was ok with that, they were only a bit too narrow for me. The strange part is they were my normal size and fit in length perfectly but the heel was too wide. They wouldn't stay on my heel and that is why I am returning them.

These shoes are very cute, perfect for fall, and the material looks durable. I bought the size I usually get in Minnetonkas, they were a bit tight across the widest part of my foot, but they are slowly loosening up as I wear them. The biggest problem I have with them is they feel a little like when you put your right foot in the left shoe (or v.v.) - they just feel sort of awkward. The material on the inside is soft.

I am true to life 7.5 But, after reading the reviews I went up to an 8M. The shoe fits comfortably and appears to be well made. I haven't worn them out yet as I am waiting for a nice rustic shirt to go with it. But so far what I can tell with the stitching and design the shoe should last.

Love these! I only buy Minnetonka Mocs. I usually buy the leather ones but decided to try the cloth ones. At first I ordered the wrong size so I was pretty sad about that but Amazon made the returns process super easy and I got new ones in just a few days. Yay!! I have wide feet so the first couple days were uncomfortable but now that they're broken in they're great! Good wth bare feet, thin socks, fuzzy socks. Yup really happy with these :)

Like previous reviewers, I feel the sizing is a little tight ( I have a UK size 6), but any bigger, and I could come to regret it. I am wearing them around the house for the moment, and can already feel a bit of give. I love the colour and pattern of the red, and think they will look great with denim.

this shoe was nowhere near in size to those I wear - sizing obviously not UK. Very pretty if they fit you

Der Schuh ist meiner Meinung nach nur etwas für wirklich schmale Füsse.. vergleichbar eng wie Schuhe von Tamaris.Ich habe breite Füsse ja, aber das ich nicht ansatzweise in den Schuh kam hat mich überrascht.Schade, die Mokassins sahen gut aus und hätten wahrscheinlich auch von der Länge her gepasst. Mehr kann ich leider nicht sagen.

I found this product not up to Minnetonka's usual standards. They fit very small, cut across the front of my foot and are not very comfortable.

Auf dem Bild an sich ganz schön, allerdings recht grobes Material. Waren viel zu klein und gingen daher zurück. Schade.

Der Mokassin trägt sich sehr bequem und ist toll verarbeitet, einfach toll!!!Der Kauf war völlig unkompliziert und ging super schnell vonstatten.Vielen Dank (-;

Very comfortable slip ons!

I typically wear a size 42/10 U.S. and after reading the reviews decided to stick with my normal size for these. That was a huge mistake! It turns out these 42s are actually 11 U.S., and when I put them on my feet were swimming in them...Sadly, I cannot return these shoes because I won't be back in Germany for at least 6 months. So, 100 Euros down the drain... :(
