A bit misrepresented
Not wireless. Now days when you see wireless you assume bluetooth. This needs to be plugged into a device or the remote that comes with it to receive sound. The sound quality is good if you turn it up slow. If you turn it up too quickly the sound crackles and cuts out. Put it together this evening, so only tested on a phone with a YouTube video. It's an attractive gaming chair. Affordable for a teenager. He loves it, and is looking forward to discover it's full potential. Shipping was only 2days with prime. Does require assembly, but not difficult. I'll update on gaming quality later.

Great Chair
I bought this chair for my husband. It works great with our ps4 and he loves it. It's comfortable, looks great, and is extremely loud when it's volume is turned up.

Misleading name, Nice chair
I looked everywhere for "player One" gaming chairs, turns out this is actually an X-Rocker sold through ace casual furniture.Made in China - Xrocker for USA S-307W-17-DC is on the wires and controller box, which matches an xrocker chair with no pedestal, so can only assume it has the same electronics.Single person assembly took about 15 minutes without using provided cheap hex wrench ( I used my own tools). The whole chair is assembled upside down, there are 4 short bolts and six long - the four SHORT are for the BASE, the six LONG are for the ARMS of the chair.Be careful about cross threading, some of the screw holes are very stiff initially so make sure bolts are aligned correctly.Chair itself is pretty substantial, there is no maximum weight listed anywhere, but it easily accomodates a 220lb male.Wireless connection is straightforward, with the TX box IF YOU HAVE AN OLDER TV WITH AUDIO OUT.If you have a newer TV without the old fashioned Red & White RCA or without a dedicated Audio OUT you will need either an HDMI to audio converter, or a Optical to RCA converter. The TX also does require batteries, wired instructions are also there which are easy to follow, as are all of the instructions. For example, my Samsung has only one AUDIO out which is a Toslink cable digital optical. As that slot is currently used I need to purchase (a) Toslink splitterĀ Andul Digital Toslink Fiber Optical Splitter 1 in 2 Out Audio Adapter Cable(Black) Further to this I also need a digital optical to RCA converter like this oneĀ Musou 3.5mm Digital to Analog Audio Converter-Optical S/PDIF Toslink/Coaxial to RCA L/R, 24-bit DAC with Fiber Cables,Black Extra equipment, and cost for want of a simple Audio Out on the TV !Not much else to say, comfortable? Yes, Sounds great? Yes.As I'm testing this as a free product from the Amazon Vine program, and it is currently listed as unavailable I cannot comment on price, or value for money as I have no idea.4 stars.

Works on my Kindle Fires, Samsung Note, laptops and Sony TV.
There's nothing to indicate that this is a Player One chair. However, there are X Rocker labels. It's got that basic black executive office vibe going on. It's contoured differently, though, and even has a scoop in the seat so you can slouch with ease. The sound it provides is loud and entertaining. You may need to fiddle with the volume controls on your system to get it loud enough. There is a battery powered brick that you can use to plug in your hand held device, such as cell phone or tablet. I show it with my granddaughter's Kindle Fire so you can see that they are tethered together as a condition to use this equipment. There are several other connection methods to choose from such as gaming systems, portable music and gaming devices, home theater and satellite systems as well as multi-user connections that allow you to string more than one chair along in the same sequence.Sound quality is average. The chair is reasonably comfortable (assuming a long session) for a young person without many body aches. You can sort of rock/bounce it with your feet and it also swivels. It's best to position it with the back towards the wall or corner so the sound is better. I like that if you're watching an action sequence and there are a lot of effects, you can feel the vibration come through the chair.I put it together by myself in less than an hour. It would have been faster if I'd had power tools. On the smaller side for an adult sized chair. Quality is average. This is not the same type of structural quality that you would see in a similarly shaped office chair. There are illustrated instructions.

Nice addition to game room, but could be better
First, the kids have loved this seat, which is the most important thing. They love sitting in it while playing PS4 games, especially War Thunder which sounds authentically of war. The biggest drawbacks are, first and foremost the sound cuts out from time to time. We still get sound from the TV, but the level drops 90% then back on. Itās disturbing. Second, you need to run a power cord out to the chair which is a little disturbing.Building the chair is straightforward and easy. We had it together in 10 minutes. Harder was connecting the sound to the chair. There are rudimentary an confusing instructions that made sense once I had it installed but at no stage in getting things plugged in. A few written lines of text would have improved that greatly. We found there was no audio out on our PS4 and the transmitter is plugged into audio pits on the TV itself. Ok, third drawback, transmitted takes AAA batteries and it seems to be hard to turn transmitter off when not on use as batteries die frequently. The chair is comfortable and seems to promote slouching. I love the bass shake when you sit in the chair and it definitely enhances game play. Like be better if it did not cut out, otherwise great.
