Wanted to Like it.. Does NOT hold 3kg
The head on this mount does not hold 3kg. I have a Canon 80D with a Canon L Series 24-105mm lens, weighing in at 2.1kg, and this camera mount ball head does not hold the camera when angled at any angle that is not a perpendicular 90 degree angle. If you have a DSLR camera at 2kg or above, or any camera with a telephoto lens, then i would NOT recommend this tripod. Also, the legs are flimsy and not stiff enough to hold into place with any camera at above 2kg or higher. I would not even trust this mount to support my camera in elevation anywhere. I really, really wanted this to work, but it falls far short of it's claims or weight support and durability. I returned it the next day.

Strong and easy to use. Only one complaint...
This tripod is well constructed and easy to use. I purchased it for use to record pickleball games with my small action cam. Playing at different venues, there isn't always a lot of room to set up a standard tripod. This tripod is small enough for me to throw in my backpack. I can mount it easily on chain link fencing or wrapped around metal rails or poles at gyms or community centers. The swivel mount allows me to mount it vertically or on whatever angle I need to frame the shot.I only have one complaint with the design. The screw mount doesn't have a way to turn the screw from beneath the mounting plate. This means that I have to either attach the camera before I arrange the tripod mount, or I have to turn the camera around and around on the screw in order to screw it to the mounting plate. Turning the camera can be risky and makes for possibly dropping the camera. The battery compartment access on my cameras is located on the bottom of my cameras, so I can't change out the battery without unscrewing the camera from the tripod. If there was a key underneath the mounting plate that would allow me to turn the mounting screw into the camera, that would be a significant improvement on the design.

Consider this one above Joby or any other!
March 15, update: 6 weeks later, and almost daily usage , and i can verify that this flexible tripod is the best option around. It has outlasted and outperformed compared to all the others I've purchased, and is still going strong, just like new. Extremely impressed customer.******So here's the deal. I shoot a lot. I've already gone thru/broken an overpriced Joby tripod (lasted less than 1 month); I've purchased, and broken 2 of the Patekfly 12" tripod, each of which lasted longer than the Joby, at less than half the price. THIS time, I went with something new: this EVO flex tripod. And while I've only been using it for a week, i have high hopes. It already seems sturdier and better made than any of the other similar items I've purchased. So far, so good, this is well worth the price!!!

So far so good
I have used this tripod for about 2 weeks so far with a go pro Chinese knock off. Holds well very flexible and its not too heavy. The legs look like it may last a bit, the tripod is not entirely aluminum the leg joints that attach the legs to the ball head looks like it might be the point of failure. It definitely cannot hold a DSLR, maybe a point and shoot and pushing it a mirrorless camera with a small lens, no battery grip. I think what makes it difficult to hold the heavier range of cameras is the ball head adjuster has a rubber grip that slips when tighten. But remember this is an inexpensive tripod, I'll review again in a few months to see how it holds up. I knocked off a star for the difficulty in tightening the ball head.

VERY NICE!
Just opened up my new EVO tripod and initial impressions are very nice! Feels high quality, premium materials. I have no doubt this will last a long time. As long as your setup isn't over 6.6lbs you will be very happy with this unit. Because ofbthe premium materials and metal head it is definitely not the lightest option available so that is a +/- depending on what you are looking for. "a picture is worth a 1,000 words" stay human. Cheers

amazing high quality gripper tripod
Wow. I was replacing one of those super-cheap plastic ball-joint-gripper tripods, and decided I would give this one a try (for the same price). This thing is amazing, the quality is 10x better. The other one I had was a cheap piece of plastic junk that should have cost $7, and this one is a professional grade build. The arms are sturdy and coated in a grippy rubber. The ball and socket is high quality aluminum. If you are looking for a gripper tripod with ~10" arms, look no further, buy this one.My application of the tripod is a little weird.. I use it to hold my webcam on my monitor arms. Which is why in the past the super cheap competitors have been fine. However, if I wanted to actually hold a camera, and have it stand up in the field, this is the one I would buy.

Works good
I really like this mini tripod. I use a canon 80d with a 70-200 L 2.8. It works well with the lens mount to the tripod and a remote shutter button. Its a little shaky with all this weight. But it does handle it and you can mange. Great for the price. ALso its amazing with lighter cameras and lens. The legs are easy to bend and attach to things...Gary

It's worth 2x or 3x the price.
I'm surprised why this brand isn't more famous. This thing is way under-priced. It's worth 2x or 3x the price.I'm so glad I got this tripod. It's my first ever tripod. I haven't been able to break it. Easy to bend, but strong enough to hold a Fuji X-E1 and flash.(Photography tip: keep the flash off the camera. Keeping it on the camera limits your ability to position the flash in a better place for proper lighting of the subject. I use command mode to set the flash off.)

A brilliant Tripod
I bought this to use with my Nebula Capsule 2 projector and its brilliant! Really secure and sturdy and is so easy to manoeuvre. I'd been contemplating getting a gorillapod but was put off by price and bad reviews. I'm so pleased I took a chance and chose this option instead, I'd highly recommend it.

solid and nicely made... great materials
looks solid... Head is built in aluminum... and uses rubber to cover the legs... nice materials and looks like it's going to last a lot... to be perfect just needs to have the legs a little bit longer... anyways is a great product!
