The clamp seems quality enough, no complaints there.The title and description all refer to a 1inch. You spend the time to measure what you are sliding it over, you go to slide it over something that's 1" and you realize this thing is . . . bigger. Most folks who buy these on Amazon are probably DIY and not actual plumbers. Perhaps 1" is a namgin convention that refers to the inside of the thing that you are repairing, but that makes no sense.Would it kill them to simply describe it accurately? Not just the title, but ANYWHERE in the description that its meant to slide over something that is bigger than 1inch? you have to read the Q&A and reviews to figure out that the description is off

Quality clamp but the 1" listed is size of pipe not the inside diameter. I needed a 1" id clam and this one was 1.3" so worthless to what I needed. I wish these would be listed by actually sizes instead of pipe sizes.

Product is exactly as advertised. Arrived on time and in excellent condition.Ignore the reviews stating that these are not properly sized as the people who write those reviews do not know what they are talking about. The sizing (1-1/4", 1-1/2", etc.) refers to the inside diameter of a pipe, not the outside diameter. Schedule 40 PVC pipe wall thickness adds considerably to the overall diameter of a pipe. These couplings are designed and sized to fit over the outside of PVC pipe, and therefore have an inside diameter that is larger than the sizing indicates. To know what size to order, just look at the information printed on the pipe itself. For example, if you have two sections of 1-1/2" Schedule 40 PVC pipe that you need to join, order the 1-1/2" coupling and you should be good to go.

Excellent quality. I use these to match up drain pipe the was a bit off center from the feed. Perfect fit. Note: 1” is actually 1.3” so that it fits over a 1” PVC pipe.

The product was as advertised. It fit my needs very well. Before I put it on the pipe I had to "stretch" the rubber fitting. I gripped the fitting with two fingers from each hand and pulled (stretched) it. I did it in two directions on each side. After I did this the rubber fitting slid on. You need to use some pressure and twisting. I would buy this product again.

It’s a flexible rubber sleeve with hose clamps. You have to work to mess that up. Anyway it worked great for connecting my rain gutter diverter hose to my rain barrel spout. Nominal inner diameter is about 1.25 but it’s pretty stretchy.

Like previous purchasers I ordered two 1"x1" it says 1"x1" on the fitting label the internal diameter is 1.25" which is far to big to use on a 1" tube I will be returning this item.It was visually obvious that the internal diameter was far too big as soon as I opened the packet, whoever labelled and packed it is in the wrong job.

This flex couplings (also known as a Fernco) are expensive locally at the piping specialty distributor.. This product was considerably less expensive and just as good. Impressed! I used it to extend the 8 inch stand pipe in my pond.

Nice thick rubber! Much better than I thought it would be
