Solid release after 22 years from the iconic shoegaze band
My Bloody Valentine is probably one of my top three bands of all time, and Loveless is my favorite album of all time. When I got this album I was so excited to listen to it. I will admit, at first listen I wasn't quite sure about what I thought of the album. Of course with all music, especially by an artist you love, give their music a chance and give it time. After a couple listenings of mbv it just kept growing on me. I find it particularly comforting because it makes me think of Loveless, but at the same time it is completely different and has a "newer" sound to it, so they aren't just mimicking their past and putting it on a new record, I think the sound is similar but fresh for them. Anyways, listening to the album now and it is always just fantastic. Any slight fan of My Bloody Valentine should pick it up. Record sounds great too.

I waited twenty plus years for this...
My bloody valentine is one of my favorite bands. Kevin Shields changed my listening habits for years and altered how I approached playing guitar. I own everything they have put out, and I have been listening to this on YouTube until it became affordable here in the US. There is no new ground covered here, but if you like the band, you will like this.

One of the best comeback albums ever
Let’s start off by saying Loveless by mbv is my favourite album ever. And isn’t anything is probably my favourite debut album of all time as well. So I’m a pretty big fan of mbv and was wanting to love this album. But at first I was kinda taken back by how low-fi and weird some of the songs were. I have to say upon first listen I kind of admired this album more than actually liked it. But after listening to it a few more times, i really came to appreciate how great it really is. If you’re more a fan of their early stuff than you are of Loveless, I’m not sure if this album is for you, but if you love Loveless and albums like Kid A, I think you’ll love this. A great album, and as fantastic a comeback as we could ask for.

A great follow-up to Loveless.
MBV's comeback album is just as good as their previous records. It has a different vibe, it's a bit more modern, yet overall the tones and textures will instantly remind you of the band that took a vacation after Loveless. This one is fairly cohesive all the way through. The sounds are a bit different, and though it doesn't always hit that Loveless quality, it has good dynamics and sounds really good overall. It's definitely up there with Isn't Anything for their second best LP. I would not hesitate to buy this one and support the band. I surely hope they have another album at some point.

Worth the wait... hopefully they are working on yet another one
I think I like this album at least as much as I like “Loveless”, maybe even more so... the fact that I have listened to “Loveless” one million and one times since its release in 1991 might be influencing my current thinking though. I am wearing this album out the same way I wore that one out...Much love.
