McCormick Gourmet Organic Za'atar Seasoning, 1.25 oz

I was looking to replace another zaatar I can no longer find. McCormicks comes close, but the oregano is too prominent. I bought a bottle of thyme and mixed it with the McCormicks, about 1:1, along with some garlic salt. It's now a delicious match and I'm enjoying it!Bonus: Dried thyme was much cheaper so it extended my zaatar supply at a bargain price.

If you like Mediterranean-style cuisine, then you should have this.

Price is too high

This seasoning is so good . When I order this you couldn’t find it in stores. It has gained popularity and is easier to find now . A good price here.

We really like this! This is my first time trying the spice mix so I haven’t tried any other za’atar mixes to compare it with, but the flavor is really great! I use it in a marinade chicken kabobs and it’s a family favorite. I keep reordering bc I can’t find it locally.

I purchased this because it was an ingredient in a recipe. I never heard of the name before. I purchased it and love it. I basically put it on chicken and add a little garlic powder. Like I said, "I love it."

I was very happy to find this spice offered. I have come across several recipes that call for it. Most stores do not carry it.
