BPA free. "Hydro-dipping" is a process where the tumbler first goes through the painting stage: surface preparation, priming, painting, and clear coating. After painting but before clear coating, the part is ready to be processed. A polyvinyl alcohol hydrographic film, which has been printed with the graphic image is carefully placed on the water's surface in a dipping tank. The clear film is water-soluble, and dissolves after applying an activator solution. The surface tension of the water will allow the pattern to curve around any shape. The adhesion is a result of the chemical components of the activator softening the base coat layer and allowing the ink to form a bond and adhere. The tumbler is clear coated as the final stage. If you love colors, patterns & having something different, you will love having one (or more) or these cups. You may already know that Yeti items are great, but the added custom coatings really make these special. Feedback from others who have seen my cup is "Wow! Where did you get that?" Kind of pricey, but every time I use it and wash it (by hand of course...no dishwasher) I really enjoy it. It is a bit of a splurge item, so it really makes an great gift too.

Great Yeti Tumbler; verify that the Magslider Lid seals properly.
Nice metallic purple finish, and great quality Yeti tumbler.Please note: the Magslider lid gasket was not perfect, and resulted in a leaky seal (Ice water, and coffee so far). I contacted "Custom Tumblers" and received an immediate response, and will have a replacement lid shipped out to me today. Great customer service.

Keeps drink cold!
I love this tumbler! It keeps my drink cold well over 12 hours in hot weather. The colors and design are bright and beautiful! It is so easy to grip, also.
