VTech V.Reader Animated E-Book Reader - Thomas & Friends

I got this e book reader for my 3 and a half year old grandson to have for a special thing to take to dinner to occupy him before food is served or when adults are lingering after dinner. It was better than imagined. It has the stories, it has various games and drills with numbers and letters. He is really into Thomas so he really liked it. It was something to do together, so it would be over his head to do alone. But it is great for an active child to occupy his mind. I will save it for occasions when it will be special.

My four year old loves Thomas so this was perfect for his V Reader collection. He spends lots of time playing the games and reading the story. The price is very good for all that you can do with this e-book.

Be aware this cartridge is for the Vtech V.Reader device, not the Vtech Mobigo as the product photo would suggest. The webpage for this product is a study in contrasts...the product description is for the Vtech V.Reader game, but for some reason the picture of the product shows a cartridge for the V.Reader Mobigo. I wanted a V.Reader cartridge, but when I saw the photo I almost didn't buy it. However, when I realized that the order would be fulfilled by Amazon I knew that I would not have any problems returning it for a full refund if it turned out to be a Mobigo game. I was very happy when I received the package and realized that it was indeed the V.Reader cartridge. My 3 year old loves it! Between the games and the stories he can easily spend an hour or more at a time playing with it. At times I've had to take the game from him to encourage him to do something else! I would highly recommend this product for anyone whose little one loves Thomas!

Absolutely wonderful. My son loves this game so much and asks about it first thing each morning. Such a good educational, and fun, game for a 3-year old!!
