Occasionally I get to ride along with my husband in his big rig, about once every 6 months. He has the Pocket Truck Stop Guide in his rig, and I found it very easy to navigate. He recently changed jobs and now drives interstate across 11 western states, coming home only once a month. Sometimes he has to drive late at night, making it difficult to read his Pocket Guide when in unfamiliar territory. So I bought a copy to keep at home. We talk on the phone in the morning before I go to work, and again when I get off work (we both use Bluetooths for safety reasons). If it's dark outside and he's running out of driving hours and needs to know where the closest truck stop is, I am able to look it up in my Pocket Guide and advise him over the phone, which is much safer than him trying to read his Pocket Guide in the dark while he's driving. It's not easy to just pull over by the side of any road in a big rig to read a Pocket Guide, and frowned on by law enforcement in most locations, not to mention wasting valuable drive time by not actually driving (the clock never stops ticking). With my copy of the Pocket Guide at home, I'm able to locate the closest truck stop for my husband, which saves time while he continues racking up the miles, because if he's not rolling, he's not earning. The Pocket Truck Stop Guide is one of our best investments ever. It's small, but packed with a surprising amount of easy to access information that fits in my purse, so I can help my husband at a moment's notice wherever I am. It gives me peace of mind to know that he's in a safe location for his layovers; someplace where I can locate him in an emergency; someplace that's truck driver friendly and has access to food, supplies, fuel and big rig repair & maintenance services. Very small and compact. I keep it right in the glove box. States are in order. Just find the road you are on and all truck stops and rest areas are listed. Good price. Easy to access detail information

Wasn't what I expected.

Used one of these years ago when I was trucking and it was extremely useful. Am now using it for travel. It makes it easy to plan fuel and rest stops without having to guess at when to stop. Best item ever for travelling!!!
