I dislike giving companies bad reviews and I know everyone was against this helmet. I received the helmet earlier than expected which is great because I just started using Citibike in NYC and its crazy... I took the helmet out the box easy enough.. I rode this morning 2.19.19 about 3 miles when I got to the office the inner lining came that was attached to Styrofoam split apart... it was not glue correctly or at all I am going to say..Don't waste your cash on this Ftiier Item.. Idea an concept, comfort amazing but after a 3 mile bike on 30 degree weather.. hmm it shouldn't have unglued...

It’s very cheap, light weight and easy to carry around, but it always seemed pretty flimsy to me, and I wondered if I should have spent more money on bettr quality. After about 2 months of normal use (just putting it on and off my head, no impacts), the side of the helmet broke off and I can’t wear it anymore. I can’t imagine what would have happened to this thing (and to me) if I was actually in an accident and my head hit the pavement.

Just opened the box and will be returning. I should of taken the advice of others. I so badly wanted this to be a real safety bicycle helmet. It feels just like an inexpensive toy from the dollar store. When something is too good to be true.......

Bought this to have accessible if I grab a scooter. The adjustable headband works very easily and I found the helmet pretty comfortable. Doesn’t fold quite as narrow as I had hoped, but it fits in the top arc of my pack where I can have it available.

I have used this helmet MANY times now to get around Seattle using the local bikeshare services like LimeBike or Jump. It folds up small enough to easily fit inside my backpack when I'm walking around but I have the option of using a bike whenever I want.There are plenty of people who ride the bikeshare bikes without a helmet but there's no way I'd want to do that in the heart of the city.This isn't a great helmet and the pad on the front has a weird texture to it that leaves a mark on my forehead if I take a long ride but I do feel safer with the bright yellow helmet on. Everyone who sees it folded up asks me about it and for what it its, I haven't found a better option.Update: After 6 months of regular use, this helmet is still going strong. I continue to be very pleased with it.

Addresses the need for a compact bike helmet, which is light weight and (relatively) small. Arrives folded in a shoe-box like package. Unfortunately, there is no locking mechanism for keeping the unfolded helmet rigid, and the spurs are all too flimsy—I cracked the foam on both sides of the lowest rung just testing the fit! So, while wearing this "helmet" is on your head is likely better than a baseball cap or nothing, I seriously doubt it will actually provide much protection in the event of a crash.

Do no buy this. This helmet is a flimsy piece of junk.I used it three times and it's falling apart. Glue came off one of the pads on the roof of helmet. I didn't do anything to it. I bought it 3 weeks ago and used on 3 short rides.Then there is the terrible chin strap which means well but the little plastic thing that the straps go through does not stay on. I put it under the little thing and the chin strap and still the little plastic latch fell off. Guess what, without that latch you don't have a helmet. Just sits on your head and will fall off first time you turn your head or certainly if you crash.So disappointed in this helmet. I knew it was too good to be true.

I really liked the idea of a helmet that folds down for easy transport, but this one is just too flimsy.I wore the helmet biking a couple of miles a day, for about a week, when i noticed the lining had come apart. It appears to be a very lightweight foam material that had simply torn.My roommate suggests gluing it back together, but honestly - a week? Something that protects your head should be a *bit* more durable, right?---Update: The company responded to my return request immediately. I may be disappointed in the item, but the customer service was excellent.
