Summer Bandana Face Mask -Dust Sun UV Protection Neck Gaiter - for Running Hiking & Motorcycling & Cycling

I bought this for the new face covering requirements, not for UV protection. I’ve tried a couple of different products and materials and this one is my favorite. It’s the easiest to breath through and it stays up on my nose without having to continuously adjust it or wrap part of it over my ponytail to stay in the same place. I have a pretty small head, so it might be a little snug on larger heads.I wish this product was available in more colors and designs.

The fabric is incredible, very comfortable material and much easier to breathe through than other masks I've tried. I like the slate grey color. The reason for less stars is because it really needs a drawstring at the top: it slides off of my head. It does not stay up at all, on its own. It's a bummer, because otherwise I love the material and loose - yet still covered - design of this face and neck covering. I hope the designers will consider adding an adjustable drawstring mechanism at the top, so that it can be tightened for a snug fit.

It's light and breathable..perfect for hiking! but not secure enough for running and jumping around. I love how stylish it is when it's covering your face or just resting down on your neck. The only bad thing is that it's too big/loose, so you have to wear it above the ears so your ears do get tired after awhile OR rely on your sunglasses to keep it on your nose. I wanted a gaiter tight enough to fit under your ears and easily stay secure above your nose.

This is a very nice fabric but will not do what I had hoped when I purchased it. from the photo I thought that there was a wider bottom to protect my lower neck and tapered top so that it would stay up on my face...so, my bad for not looking more carefully. The fabric is very nice and light weight. For me, not what I was hoping for. Too narrow to protect my lower neck and too wide to stay up around my face.

I purchased this to wear as a sun mask, but I can only wear it in the early morning or late afternoon. If I can see my flesh tone through it, I imagine the sun can see it too. However, it is breathable, which most of these neck gaiters are not. As far as a dust mask, I'm not so sure about that. It certainly would keep bugs out, but the mesh parts are too large to keep dust particles out. Still, it is a well-made item.

I got these for work when I'm cutting metal on the chop saw. The material is nice and cool and is very breathable and I've been able to wear over my face/nose for extended periods.It doesn't keep out 100% of dust and fumes, but with this combined with a face shield it really cuts back on most of the bigger stuff. Also it fogs up my safety glasses a lot less then the disposable dust masks.I've washed these quite a few times and they don't fray or pill up in the washer. It's a really nice, light-weight material. Five out of five stars.

This gaiter is pretty lightweight which is great if you want good breathe-ability. It will be suitable for times when you want to keep sun off or if you want to make a quick run into a store and need a face covering. I'm not so sure it is thick enough for dust filtering. It is also much bigger around than other gaiters I own (1/2" bigger at least) so it really doesn't stay up and the material has little elasticity. I am going to need to sew one end together a bit so I can use it. There is a large label on the outside which looks silly if you have it on the top. The label is sewn on very well so cutting it off won't be easy. Yeah, I don't really want BINMEFVN advertising under my nose.

Love the stitch pattern. Good thickness. Perfect for summer hiking.Definitely useful as:1. Neck protection to fill gap between hat and shirt.2. Emergency Sun protection over ears, neck, nose3. Useful as simple dust filter over nose and mouth during sand storm or ATV riding.4. Nice for dispersing sweat5. Cover head and ears if you forgot a hat.6. Ups your hiking attire as an accent. Kind looks cool with your getup.
