I wear glasses, so having a mirror I can bring close to my face when I am doing my makeup is invaluable. I use the magnification side the most often. I use rechargeable batteries in it so I don't waste tons of batteries for the lighting. The lighting could be brighter, but it isn't bad.

I hesitated to buy any wall-mounted, lighted makeup mirror because reviews, prices, and problems varied. But I took a chance on this one and so far, it seems to have paid off!The installation was super easy (drill small hole into wall, tap in drywall screws, screw in plate via hardware provided and mount mirror) and took me all of 8 minutes - if that.The light is great, my picture does not do it justice. THERE IS NO BLUE TINT TO THIS LIGHT. It is exactly the LED quality I was looking for.I haven’t tried the charging port yet, but this was another reason I bought this mirror. No dreaded power cord across the bathroom to an outlet. Putting in batteries is easy, even if mounted. Just twist the mirror face and expose the battery pack. 3 AAA batteries, a soft touch to the power button and there’s light!The magnification is great too. 5x!!I just took it out of the box, so it is a little stiff but I would much rather that than it be loose. We will see how it holds up but overall I am extremely pleased. Especially for the price.

This mirror looks very nice and fits in with my bathroom decor. It was pretty easy to install (per husband) although the directions are not very good. I really like the fact that it uses rechargeable batteries (although not included). It has the perfect magnification of 5x. Any more than that would be scary. The only real negative is that the light reflects on my glasses or pupils (if not wearing glasses), which is very distracting. Plus, when I try to locate the tiny holes in my ear lobes for my pierced earrings, the lights actually make it harder for me to see them. The lighting in my bathroom alone does better for that. But overall, I'm pleased with the purchase.

This is a very Nic quality mirror and looks fantastic in my bathroom. I have received many compliments and people wanting to know where I purchased it. They want one too. The only suggestion I'd have to the manufacture is have the mirror screw off so you can get to the batteries easier. It can be a bit of a challenge to get to them. But I still love it and would recommend folks to purchase. It's priced right and easy to install.

3 issues and my overall feedback. The light isn't very bright. I have it both plugged in and batteries in. The flimsiness of the metal bracket pieces that mount to the wall are going to eventually do damage to my wall when they wobble, flex and move against the wall. There a dim halo of light around it even when its off. You can see it when the bathroom lights are off. Overall: its pretty, it was reasonably priced, came with great instructions, quick shipping, functions well for the mirror itself (just not the wall bracket part)

I am 84 and I installed this mirror very easily. I love that it has a battery--no dangling electric cord. Perfect size mirror that folds neatly against wall when not being used.Update: May 23, 2020, ther light quit working. I did not receive the electric cord/plug and I have no idea how to change the battery or even what kind of battery it uses. Without the light, I do not like this mirror.

I love this lighted mirror. I installed it myself, and at the exact height for me. No more do I need to bend down to my mirror. The lighting is very natural. I prefer the 5X magnification over the 10X of other mirrors. Because it is battery operated, it can be installed anywhere. It uses 3 AA rechargeable batteries which are not included. The cord for recharging is included. Great value, too.
